I’m was self - employed contractor in 1981. In 1986 the farmers weren’t make money and they had sell out. We could go to a farm sale everyday. That was bread and butter, so I decided work for a well farmer in 87 because no work. I worked for three years and got back in construction because it started good again. 2020 was was was a good year again and 21, but had go back to farming again for income. I was burned and raised as a farmer son , so I have in my background. I went to help my cousin and brother on the farm last 2 years. I been living on the same farm that dad bought 63 years ago. Trump 2024

They just said Biden has Covid again. It is back to the basement. Maybe he will never come back out again. that would be ok. Today is Wed.

James 👍🏻 that’s what I like about the Anhydrous in my opinion at least it seems to stay around in the ground longer, and I don’t have to worry about rain putting it in the ground but then again I have to worry about getting too much rain so that it leaches which we haven’t had a problem with this year that’s for sure

Between the swamps and Dolomite property it's deer heaven. Oh, and the 100 was on their property. I've got easy couple dozen. Idk if you have any inkling but the drive-in in Newark is open again

I bushhogged pastures all last week Saturday evening i heard something looked back and bushhog came loose the hitch was still on the tractor a big rod that was supposed to be welded in was only tacked its on a pretty new land pride 15 ft at least i was on level ground because some rented farms have hills steep as a cats face lol

I was putting gas on dry land wheat. One shank wore out and the gas shot out full force. When combining wheat , there was one row that the wheat was 4 inches taller

I think you are 100% correct on the nitrogen idea. As you said near the end of the video, you definitely don't get all of the corn's nitrogen's needs through the planter, and I feel that adding more later (at the right time) is essential to a good crop.

Have you heard about if the graineries find deer shit or pellets from a doe in you wheat samples,they have refusing the load of wheat. Where people have to cut wheat that down is where you have the problem. They sent letters out about it. I know some farmers that have been refused. I'm in West Tennessee.

It would’ve cost him $20,000 to have somebody custom spray really doofus let’s see if you paid $25 an acre for your chemical which is high and $15 an acre For the custom applicator which is high that’s $40 an acre so you are trying to convince people that you planted 500 acres of corn but it’s all because he’s talking about some Rogator He wants to buy you know kind of like that Kenworth that turned out to be absolutely fucking useless that he’ll never use, but clueless people watching him think that’s what farming all about. That’s what pisses me off.

I used to sidedress nitrogen but got away from and use ESN now. They apply that along with starter at burndown. Saves a trip across the field and not running over corn. You seem to have success with your program so keep on with it but there is an option for you if you want to try it. Great first second and third at the end.

@@TheGrumpyFarmer 18 hours of rain is predicted, some parts maybe 5 or 6 inches.I have 3 acres a few feet below sea level, it will flood.But only for eight or ten hours I'll have a nice little pond.

We do nitrogen both ways sidedress and urea pre plant on small fields don’t see any difference. We put stabilizer on it. Only reason we don’t use urea on all of it is it is because takes too much time to apply that much urea.
