Scareclaw started out like a powercreep on Crusadia, but now has enough support with other Visas lore stuff to do some crazy shenanigians depending on what direction you choose to go. Kashtira and Mannadium both open tons of powerful plays now, and Vicious Astraloud makes for a nice backup plan in some cases.

In general, scareclaw is an extremely versatile deck. Since all it needs for getting its basic tri-heart line going is any single scareclaw, it leaves a TON of space open for any engine or tech cards you might want to add. I've easily made a couple dozens different scareclaw decks since it came to master duel, obviously not all equally successful. It has absolutely become one of my favorite decks

It is pretty neat seeing this deck have its moment of glory, especially thanks to Twinsaw just being the right card for the current metagame.

The pause after "But, that's just a theory" killed me. 🤣

Scareclaw seems interesting to play against but I never got around to trying them out, so thanks for posting the climb!

TBF, at least we saw an alternate victory condition that wouldn't be possible under normal circumstances.

This was my favorite climb to watch live. Can't wait to see the edited version!

Duel 52 VS the Scareclaw mirror was insane... OTK'ing through a negate (which guaranteed them Maxx "C"), then an imperm, then another imperm, then NIBIRU... that was amazing.

6:13 Dude I thought I was the only one who makes that joke whenever I use Visas in a duel. Whether I add to hand or effects to summon him. I'm happy someone else is making that joke

All of the interaction in combination of not being clearly unfair made for a pretty hype and fun episode to watch. Looking forward to see what you can cook up next time.

Reichheart: "My dogs don't bite..." (Transforms into Tri-Heart) "But I do!" Duel 96 was put in specifically to trigger me. They searched Arachnocampa, they could have summoned it to protect their traps from Twinsaw but they chose death instead.

And I was just building this deck and pulled 3 Straddles when I already had 3 of them. Also, I was honored to play on the testing, despite my massive misplay. To be fair though, I was extremely nervous.

LMAO charmer pack wayne. Edit: Nice climb it is funny how many games were decided on the back of .. archetypal Icarus Attack. Reminds me of when I started in Master Duel and mained a 40 card Shiranui Zombie deck, a surprising number of games they would stop my normal summon, but I would set Shiranui Swallow Slash and pray and often still clear spright.

Underrated and underappreciated fact, Joe is a great singer and an even better entertainer. You can really feel the performing arts talent from this guy. Much more than a duelist IMO.

btw just for anyone curious or thinking of building the deck IRL, triple tactics thrust makes up like 70-80% of the IRL cost, scareclaw is absolutely *dirt cheap* to make

Tri-Heart is a good boss monster and Try Honesty is a good song :D

I was not at all expecting this deck to be able to consistently play through UDF + 2 Noirs. Great job!

Great video! As a Scareclaw player myself I would say that Adventurer (with a small Magician's Soul Engine) still is the better version of the deck but the Kashtira strat is also good!

In duel 36 couldnt you have went scarekash straight into ariseheart on your first turn because they used shangri-ira to special summon unicorn. Ariseheart doesnt say YOUR ira so you can use its effect if your oponent summons a monster from the deck with theirs at the beginning of your turn.
