As a Switch player, I am I credibly disappointed that they still haven’t patched it. They released a patch yesterday, and it seems like they didn’t even touch fixing it. It’s funny the first few times, but now it’s just annoying.

Other things to keep in mind for switch: Invasions isn’t finished, and even combo trials isn’t finished (there are some characters with only lesson 1). Also, it’s hard not to get the floating head brutality in switch.

For some reason, that Scorpion error and not getting the keycard error always shows up when you first play Invasions mode on switch but once you reset the game, it just fixes itself. A lot of the games issues are just fixed by just resetting the game weirdly enough, which is fine for me since this games starts up way faster than mk11 on switch.

I think the reason why the switch version of MK1 looks and plays like this is probably because of how much storage space it comes with, so a few things like graphics needed to be scaled down in order to fit

I already did it, and it's slightly faster on PS5 than Switch. On PS5 it's 00:08:95, which is slightly faster than what CAGED got on Switch 00:09:02

@@coolinytNope, that's because nobody bothered to actually time the animation until CAGED did it for Switch, once he did it I also did it for PS5. People are just use to things like these to be instant so if it's even one second longer than they are not gonna get the same feeling unless you add another factor to break the illusion. In this case, a clock. It's all in our heads.

You didn't even experience half of the issues that the switch version has. The graphic quality and the long load times are only some of the issues. Currently, it's an incomplete game, there are issues with many projectiles, matchmaking on ranked is terrible and the lag, so much lag.

dude i have MK11 for switch and it does not look anywhere near this bad. the fabric and armor look good and realistic to me. the faces look fine. obviously i wish it had higher definition /pixel density. but we’re also dealing with not-so-powerful hardware. the characters look plastic here in MK1, yikes.

They released a patch last night that adds the rest of Invasions, makes the graphics SLIGHTLY better, and I’m pretty sure they also foxed the head floating glitch (both times I’ve done it, the head has fallen, so…)

Other things he didn't come across: 1) Some stage the frame rate drops and you fight in slow motion. 2) At least for me, when I do Rain's roundhouse kick my opponents clothing always seems to stick to a pixel.

If you thought the floating head during the uppercut brutality was weird, it's because you didn't get the floating head + stretching face combo lol, funniest bug I've seen in a while. That said, the patch they released like yesterday or the day before apparently removed it. Sad.

It has improved A LOT since it's release.

It just didn't need to be a straight port. They could have change the menu to be more stationary, they could have did like MK11 and make the character select screen just images.

NRS is only developing the PS5 and Series X versions of the game. Shiver and Saber did the Switch port and the decision to omit last gen was an executive WB call.
