Yep, they still are holding deep in the mountains, but I don't think the people are willing to support them, until they get rid of all the former politicians and figures that was corrupt and incompetent in the Republic era, such as Amr Ullah Saleh, Atta Noor and so on. The only solid person that NRF needs to hold on to is Marshal Dostum, he was the only one in 2015 that tried to eradicate Taliban but got attacked by Fascist Ghani and had to exile to Turkey. I wish General Raziq didn't get assassinated by CIA and ISI, he would have been a strong anti Taliban supporter in the south of the country.
