Lil' Kitten it is German. It says „24 days beauty Accessoires“ on it. So Beauty is a English word I don’t know what she was expecting from a “beauty” calendar 🤷🏻‍♀️ but yeah the calendar is total trash 😆

Did anyone else notice the dates of the copyrights on the calendar as well? I have a feeling that Hasbro does print more recent dates even if making the same thing multiple years in a row. This means that the calendar itself could very well be actually 2 years old, regardless of purchase date. I wouldn't use the makeup items unless I actually knew for certain that they were good.

I miss when they made calendars with the ponies that were blind bag sized (before FIM was a thing) and their accessories. Some of them were crappy, but they were still very PONY oriented.

My 8 year old cousin sitting next to me also thought this calendar was absolutely horrible, she said “if mommy got me that I would cry”

This pony calendar... Just burnt my eyes. For a MLP lover like me this was a disapointing

The best My Little Pony advent I had was one of the older versions, just before MLP: FiM came out. It has a big purple tree on it with a visible mini pony figure of Pinkie Pie (the original, of course.) I believe it came with a few other pony figures, as well. It had the cutest prizes, like a tiny cloth stocking and Santa hat. Looking at this one and comparing it to the 'Ponyville' one, I feel like the 'Ponyville' advent was a lucky gem among plan rocks and now I'll treasure it even more.

Let's start out as early as possible, teaching our blossoming young ladies to be insecure about their appearance and their bodies by giving them beauty products before they hit puberty. >_____>; I mean, if you're traditionally girly/feminine, more power to you. But it's almost 2019, Hasbro. Girls are diverse. Girls come in many forms, with many other interests besides makeup and cheap hair accessories. There is more to girls and women than fussing over our looks. XP I've worn makeup all of 3 times in my 35 (nearly 36) years. My hair is currently buzz-cut short, so I wouldn't even be able to *use* those crappy hair things. -_-; Why can't they do a toy advent calendar that would appeal to every mlp fan? There could be blindbag ponies in the windows! Or something smaller, like the size of the Kinder Surprise ponies. Last I checked, mlp fans want mlp toys. No one collects mlp for the dime-store makeup. :P

@Chocomeis Actually, I feel quite proud of myself! :D I wrote my opinion, exactly how I feel, without worrying what others would say. For years I was terrified to comment anywhere online, because of horrible harassment and bullying that I had gone through before. It was so bad I was suicidal and badly depressed for years. I lost my voice. But now I've begun to express myself again, and you know what? The mean comments meant to hurt me and push me back down, don't hurt anymore! I couldn't be happier and prouder of myself.

I’m gonna go ahead a recommend a really good advent calendar Lindt advent calendar

I have seen plenty of good mlp advent calendars. Our neighbours down the road got one for their six year old. She did not get the beauty advent one but was a mlp one. So far she has got mini mlp figures, cool stickers, what looks like a mini wood piece in the shape of one of the ponies and their picture on it. You said the last two yeas the mlp advent calendars were not so good so why get a mlp beauty advent calendar again? Why did you not decide to shake things up and get a non beauty one but still a mlp advent calendar? Or you still could 😁There are a few to choose from. I live in Ireland and seen them here, also advertised online for UK. Even a cheap one with chocolate each day in it from pound land.

My favorite color is purple too, and in some ways, it looks amazing, like Amethyst from Steven Universe's color palette. But this calendar... :inhale: they used the ugliest shades of purple ever.

At the risk of sounding like an old cynical fart I must say I find these modern advent calendars quite disgusting. Consumerism dialed up to 200% marketed to children and shopaholic women. Bunch of junk. Back in my day an advent calendar was a piece of cardboard with little illustrations behind each window that fit together with the episode of the day of the advent radio theatre.

Are they just asoming all of those "y ough girls" are girly and love Mark up -_-

I was a big Nintendo fan when I was little, and I still am to this day. The only times I use makeup - well, face paint - is when I need it for a Halloween costume.

I’d like an advent calendar that includes figures and some holiday accessories for the figures the closer you get to Christmas

This is my first video I'm watching from you but i have a few concerns 1.) This is a kids calendar and its from hasbro, don't expect the most high quality item 2.) (I'm not 100 percent sure on this one, as I do not have the calendar) that glitter looked pretty easy to get out, just get scissors or a knife 3.) not every single little thing needs a pony on it. Some smaller things might not be able to fit one on and it costs the company a lot to buy the ink for them. As long as they are hearts or something, it should be fine 4.) Why are you so salty about purple. Every time you see purple you whine about it being the worst color like calm down lmao I'm not trying to full on hate on this youtuber, I just got a bit confused about things on this video, sorry

At 5:53 when she said "Your going to need some potassium to balance out all this salt you're going to ingest..." I was like "well..." and then I got up and got a banana and started eating it and I was like "You happy?" xD

Remember when mlp advent calendars used to be good? Like there was an entire set in a 31 day calendar and you would get a piece of the set every day. It would even include ponies like minty and scootaloo before she was a Pegasus and dyed all the purple in her hair pink..

It's been a while since I've looked at anything pony, glad this was on my reccomended though, hilarious.

Once my mom bought a makeup calendar at Sephora and she was super excited she opened every single day and all I could hear is a Xmas carol but it has a MAKEUP COVER like instead of 25 days of Christmas 25 DAYS OF LIP GLOSS

Hasbro: Hey, I got an idea on what to put inside those windows on the calendar! Some other people in Hasbro: Oh, what is it? Hasbro: Let's put makeup and stuff for hair in there! Because boys _surely_ don't watch MLP, and little girls must be taught to hate their own face and put a lot of fake beauty on themselves, haha! :D Seriously, Hasbro? You've got to be fudging kidding us all -_- Good thing I don't like MLP that much. I just stumbled upon this video because I am curious.

I don't really care for MLP, but I had this video on my recomanded, so I checked it out. And its cheap (refering to the calendar). I'd assume that this made for girls of 5 or 6 years old and if I got that I'd have just been disappointed. As a kid all I wanted were plushes and toys. Dosen't matter what the plushes (characters) were from, I just wanted them. Plus, since kids at this young age learn more then in the later stages in life, this teathes the kids about makeup and that they have to look beautiful to even be someone. Plus with all the celebrities on tv that they might see.. I don't know why, but this is the most triggering thing I've ever seen!

I have only ever had one advent calander in my youth and it was one for "playmobile". Its like lego but with more smooth figures and no pegs or building. It was rather fun. Though the issue was that you actually had to put the entire thing together yourself! My mum didnt want to do it so there i sat looking at the things i wanted to play with as i put them into their boxes just to wait to take them out again

Is it bad that I would like this advent calendar? I could use the fake makeup because there is some color in them I could put on the hair extensions cuz why not I would use the glitter for stuff The clips and brush for my mlp toys and and give two to my sister for her dolls Ik the brush doesn’t work but it’s just one brush. It’s not like all of the days had plastic brushes in them. Like you could use the brush in a video like where they get ready in the morning and pretend to brush their mane.
