I think your video had the desired effect 🤣 This year's Fasnacht celebration had almost 2,000 people attending. They were expecting 200, but they got way more, and I imagine it's because of videos like yours. As someone who grew up going to Fasnacht, and someone who even recognized some of the people and musicians in your video, thank you for promoting this wonderful little town, and the event. 😀

I just put about 20 hours into editing this video over my experience at the REAL Fasnacht celebration.. That's not even counting the amount of time, & money I used to go out to Helvetia, West Virginia to get all of this footage! This video has been a long time in the making.. Since this only happens once a year, you will only see this footage of the real celebration here on my channel for now! I didn't notice anyone else out there recording the event in 2020, unless it was from their phone recording tidbits. Consider leaving a like on the video, and possibly share this with some people who you'd think would be interested in this.

I was there this year. I remember seeing a bearded guy with a camera. I didn't know it was you, bruh. But then again there's a lot of people walking around looking like cast members of Duck Dynasty in WV. I live an hour and twenty minutes away. I've had lunch at the restaurant a few times. I'm from the Savage Divide in real life. Bethesda did a good job implementing my home state in the game.

I don't really feel like they did an amazing job. They could have done a lot more for Charleston, Morgantown, and Wheeling. There was a lot of history they could have worked with like the burning of the capitol buildings, or Marshall University, or the historic WVSU. I was kinda sad to not see something like Charleston High School included or some kind of alternative timeline for it. But I guess they did enough, idk how much they could squeeze in to a game about an entire state.

I am amazed how well Bethesda rebuild this little village in Fallout 76. On a side note on the sold dishes (minute 18:47): I know #3 quite well as I live in Saarland and if this recipe is quite close to what we have here I can highly recommend it, and it is really a classic for this region. I am amazed they have this on their menu. Usually you eat it inbetween a sliced roll and have a beer (Karlsberg would be the most known regional brand) as beverage. #4 is a rather modern thing but you can really get a Döner Kebab everywhere nowadays all over Germany, but this is definitely not a classic german recipe ... a well, thanks Rifle for this very interesing video, keep up your excellent work

It's not even German in the first place. Doner Kebabs are Turkish as it clearly stated on menu it was brought to the Germans by Turkish immigrants, not sure why it's claimed to be a German food lol if I'm wrong then please do let me know but I'm pretty certain it's not remotely German XD you can get donor meat on almost every corner of England, 90% of them are owned by Turkish as well so that should say something in itself

What a shame, so many trash Bethesda, at every turn. I am in my fifties and AM not a gamer, however, while at home recovering, from an illness, I stumbled into Fallout 3. The art, ambience and the FEEL, of this game was impressive. Most Gamers look over how much work goes into GUN DESIGN. INTRICATE!! You learn geography, from this game. The amount of CHAOS that can go on, at any moment, is stunning. Even with the bugs, Bethesda has gone over the top, with game implementation. I thank Them, for their hard work.

Amazing how much attention to detail was put into the game when seeing the real life Helvetia in your video. Fasnacht was the thing I was most excited for in 76. As soon as I got into Beta, I made a bee line for Helvetia and was devastated to find no masks there. I stopped playing after Beta until a few days ago, and I've been playing the Fasnacht event every chance I get. I've wanted to go to the real life Fasnacht for years; I'm just under 3 hours away (across the river from the real life Camden Park), but I'm a shut-in with severe social anxiety, so I always put it off. This video makes me feel much more prepared. Thanks for this! I also set up Amazon Smile for Kultur Haus; thank you for showing us how to do that too!

I really like this video and am very happy that you did reupload it. I am going to change my donations for Amazon Smile. The masks that the people made seem really detailed. Good job bud! 👍

Had one back in a small Texas town I grew up in as well (less than 1000 people). It was a celebration relevant to Cynthia Ann Parker with booths, a parade, a cook off, some friendly competition, an occasional mud bog, and a dance usually on the last night to close it out. Thanks again for the content Rifle!

TO HELVETIA: You guys are so cool! I wish I could go there for the Fasnacht, but considering the current times....I really can't but I will try to go there next year! If any of you guys from there see this, what kinda mask are you supposed to create? is it anything freebie make anything you want kinda thing? Or is it specific?

I love the detail that Uncle Todd & Co. put into this aspect of “76. And the masks that transferred from real life to in game? Awesomeness! And the fact that NEW masks can be made for future events? Love it! Thanks much for making the trip, and archiving this. I saved the direct site info for future donation purposes too 👍

As a West Virginian I'm all for helping out my fellow mountaineers especially through positive promotion of are culture kind of crazy here but it's all love we have many old traditions all over the state and are hills and forests go forever it's a beautiful place to grow up. I was so happy when I first heard Bethesda was having my all time favorite game, Fallout in my home state but anyway thanks for the positive feedback and showing of West Virginia.

I really appreciate you travelling to Helvetia, West Virginia to help give some reality to the gaming experience. There is something about the experience of seeing real life footage from a location in Fallout 76. Sad to see/read about the first video corrupting and then having to be removed. But from the number of comments and views, it looks like it is doing better the second time around when compared to the first upload.

Rifle, it's videos like this that keep me coming back to your channel. Love the content. And this is a GREAT video promoting Fasnacht. Wish I would have known about it while I was stationed there... totally would have gone. I will be donating and linking my Amazon account to it. Really, imagine what that town could do with a $10 donation from all of your followers. Just the Likes alone to the video would generate $48k. All of your subscribers... that's $7mil. Imagine what a community like this can accomplish with that much money!!! And then, we do a Fallout Pilgramage one year to Helvetia for Fasnacht... it will be like our own "Zip to Zap", only I hope they don't call in the national guard (look it up). This is awesome! Thanks for taking the time and effort for sharing.
