@@deeznoots6241 Oh trust me I *know* the sets but I still make so many mistakes in game plan... I also have a very bad mentality (I'm the human equivalent to archeops. Defeatist really does work like that irl) so I end up throwing games I had no right losing. That and I don't take enough time to check my exact moves early game so I might rely on something I don't have. And a milion other things I fuck up. Wolfe's criteria are much more important than set knowledge (after all, as you see he just uses the randbat command to see possible moves, which I just learned about). I know I suck at a lot of things but knowing what I'm against ain't one of them. Wolfe is a much better player in general so he only needs to grind out for a couple days to get used to a format and he's going to be top 1%. That's in part his talent and also his overwhelming experience he can translate (because VGC or not, pokemon is pokemon)

This video is SO good. Editor deserves a raise, or at the very least, a major "take a bow" praise in the video. Honestly loved this editing more than something like Game Theory or whatever else that pulls in the millions. Keep him.

I’ve been playing random battles for a long time, and even if the stall mons or the set up sweepers feel exhausting to play against, I’ve never felt disappointed by the variety of pokémon that expands throughout generations (especially given how the typical smogon tiers are near-impossible to play with unorthodox pokémon). It was awesome to watch your competition! Good luck with future competitions.
