I didn’t watch Toy Story on release (2019) but I did around the small lockdown my country had from January to March 2021.

Keanu is amazing in everything he makes. He's one of my favorite actors. His presence just elevates the story. It's so cool he's willing to be a part of this universe.

Honestly , i'm so happy about that!! Keanu Reeves is PERFECT for shadow (he's my favorite actor but apart for that) , between John Wick and Johnny Silverhand , he just got the perfect voice and acting background !

Oddly enough I think Keanu’s like…casual voice makes the most sense if we’re looking back at Sonic Adventure 2 for comparisons. Shadow’s voice wasn’t too gruff until Jason came along, and I kinda love that Keanu can do a gruff voice and a non-gruff voice. Both fit Shadow

Half of these have convinced me Keanu could work as Shadow, the other half further deepen my fear of Shadow just sounding like Keanu Reeves and not himself
