Arirang is a folk song (apprx 600 years old) which depicts the hope and longing of the unification of Korea. Sohyang does all the arrangements of her performances, with her team. Sohyang rearranges all the music she sings live. In fact, almost all of her performances are live. That is what is so stunning about her. She sounds like a studio recording she is so _perfect,_ but it is live! That is so hard to do! I don't think a lot of folks realize what a mountain to climb that is! "Arirang Alone" is based on a 600 year old Korean folk song and is Sohyang's own arrangement of it. She has genius level talent and is surrounded by that same level of talent all around her. She sits down with her in law family and musical friends and works out every arrangement. What else can be said other than the proof is in the pudding. We don't know of a greater female singer anywhere in the world! Sohyang does have a few live performances of her own songs. One is called "Dream" which she followed right away with "I Have Nothing" which Whitney Houston had a monster hit with. Here is "Dream" and it is virtuoso stuff again!
