Yep, not too bad, Isaiah! LOL! She is the best. I think, and I could be wrong, and anyone, feel free to correct me, that when she showed up on some of these earlier shows, main stream S Korea was not really ready for her. She sings somewhat like the people she grew up listening to; Mariah, Whitney, Celine, and though I feel she has surpassed them, I think some Koreans (I emphasize the word 'some') just were not ready for the embellishments that seem to come from her soul. Anyway, even if I'm way off, it is clear that she is one of the best to ever perform on a stage... thanks for your reaction!

Yes! I have read many people's comments on previous So Hyang reactions I have done echoe the same thing! Which is crazy to even hear! She is defintely one of the best if not the best! It's not even close! Love the soul that she brings! It's intoxicating lol!

Isaiah, IMHO, there has not been a better singer in South Korea, or the world, than Sohyang for about 13 years now. She just seems to open her mouth and the most beautiful and agile voice you have ever heard comes out. It doesn't even seem to require any effort from her, though it took her years and years to train _herself._ Because other than a small handful of sessions with Seth Riggs when she was on vacation in the US back around 2010, no one knows of any other formal instruction that she may have received. Incredible but true. 🤔🤷‍♂👽🛸

So Hyang is just simply AMAZING. And I believe u! I have been exploring a lot of South Korea talent and she is the best vocalist I have heard by far! No disrespect to everyone I have heard but So Hyang is just on a different planet!

IMO Sohyang lovers are ALL warm and pure hearted by nature. Her singing is the least of reasons why she is loved it has more to do with being a really really good and beautiful person.

Btw, Sohyang adores the Trinity, consisting of Celine, Whitney and Mariah but Mariah is someone that Sohyang idolises dearly. Her favourite album is Music box and even warms up her vocals by singing songs by Mariah Carey.

She actually came in third only because of the popularity vote. Unfortunately, she wasn’t that known, before joining I Am Singer 2, due to only doing Christian/gospel music and it gave her a disadvantage near the end because her competitors were already mainstream famous artists who were already recognisable in the audience. Despite these events, that doesn’t diminish how consistently epic each of her performances were.

I agree 1 billion percent! It's a shame how much of a popularity contest some of these competitons have become/were. So Hyang delivers greatness EVERY SINGLE TIME. No such thing as a "bad night" from her!

You could tell her , I think your starting this song on too high a note ! How will you got high enough at the end and she would just look at you kindly but puzzled! Then after a minute she would say , Well I don’t worry about something like that when the time comes you just open your mouth, think of the note you want and it comes out, silly :-) Tons of Talent, Lots of Training , Thousands of hours of Practice and a hundred more hours of practise and rehearsals, unbelievable Technique, look after your health and voice , no liquor or smoking , don’t talk to much or too loud the day before and day of Performance and you too can easily have the voice of an Angel:-) LOL !!! Thank you for you videos of this Wonderful Lady!
