So Here's The Story Behind The Tundra & Why I'm Not Keeping It...

For my friends in Colorado, beware doing any sort of business with Tyler Fisher. He's not to be trusted and will lie through his teeth. Hope you all had a great 4th of July weekend! Thanks for tuning in, see you in the next video.

One night I got an accidental text from a friend. It wasn't meant for me. Long of short, he was staying in his car and needed a place to stay. I ended up paying for a couple of weeks for a motel, a couple weeks later, he is back on his feet with an apt. I even gave him about 300 in camping gear until he could get a bed. We spoke a few times after that and then nothing. Someone I have known for about 5 years. And there wasn't any clue he would have pulled something like that. I totally agree. But some are good folks? Or I thought? I believe we have all been through the ringer in the last few years. I don't think there is anyone who hasn't been impacted? Just my thoughts.

Once you get the diagnosis from the Toyota tech and get things fixed. You may want reconsider keeping it. Keep your old truck as back up for a few years as well. Finding a decent truck is hard now and once its fixed up you may be okay for many years.

This is wild, a few hours ago I was JUST wondering what ever came of this situation after leaving my comment about you inspiring me to get a 4x4 T100. I was in a similar situation with a Ford Bronco that had undisclosed damage. Ultimately I had to just suck it up and the dealer wasn’t responsible. Luckily I ended up finding a buyer that didn’t care about the total loss. But I disclosed the Carfax and the history of the vehicle, unlike your “friend”. There’s nothing so gut wrenching than being lied to on purchase involving a huge amount of money.

Well you may find out the damage isnt as bad as you think. Toytas are tough. Given the age the insurance company may have just hit their limit on paying out and totalled the car. My son in law had his toyra camry totalled because the repairs exceeded the value of the car. They bought the car back from the insurance company, popped the damaged panels out and drive it. There wasnt damage that affected the drivability of the car. Just cosmetic damage.

That being said i combed through a ton of their reviews and found the same issues with them not disclosing salvaged titles and dishonest biz practices. Thanks for the confirmation. Looking at a ton of used tundras on fb marketplace and seeing some 2000-2008's 175-250k miles. What are you thoughts on the higher mile ones? i hear make sure the timing belt/chain has been replaced and im good to go. Thanks for the videos over the years.
