@cloudberryflowers-flowerfarm last year my annual asters grown from seed were a disaster. Tiny flowers and short short stems. So happy this year to get tall stems and amazing flowers. They were amazing last year, so glad I grew them. I loved the apricot ones especially.

Yes you can direct sow these as soon as the soil starts to warm up which would be towards the end of April here.
What type of aster is this called? Beautiful!
