Yup, that's why i think CEO's and Landlords shouldn't exist. When a skilled labourer brings 70-80% of the cost of an item, why does he deserve 1% of that objects price in compensation?
I'm glad to hear that these talented women have finally found ways to sell these beautiful works of art, without getting ripped off by middle men. Taking most of the profit, from *their* hard work! If they can continue doing so for a while, it will allow them to live better, buy better gear etc. etc. I wish them all the best.

I love watching curling 🥌 during the Winter Olympics. It’s really the only game I watch besides the gymnastics 🤸♀️. Watching curling just relaxes me for some reason. Watching the stones go slowly down the ice and the brooms scratching the ice. The first time I watched I was like what is this? 😂😂. I’d never seen such a thing but now I would love to try it.

Every time I watch this type of video especially with the pipes the number one worry is not having people to teach the craft too. I would love to start a program that goes into prisons and youth detention centers to find candidates to match with all these older master of all these crafts and teach them. I’d guarantee the majority would find new paths in life with a newfound skill and respectable artistry. It truly is heart breaking to think of all the things we have forgotten or will forget due to todays youth not showing any interest. People in prisons and drug rehab programs have nothing but time and a desire to do something meaningful that they can feel proud of… I will meditate on it. Much Love All 🙏🏼

Some prisons are doing this, there's a program in Cook county prison (in Chicago, where over half of the jail population has never being found guilty, it takes that long to wait for trial) to train prisoners as chefs. Because even if they do end up convicted, while many shops and restaurants won't higher convicts for the front of house, but they will for the back.

Weird how humans decided things like diamonds and pearls were so valuable. Gold too. When it takes a professional to discern certain fakes, we’re basically admitting we like these things only BECAUSE they are rare and expensive, not because of how they look.

This is an amazing video and I enjoyed every bit of it. It's another time of the year. One need to set goals and take bold steps in achieving them. Remember success are not obtained overnight. It comes in installment; you get a little bit today and a little bit tomorrow until the whole package is given out. The day you procrastinate you lose that day of success.

Well, from my own point of view, you need to invest smartly if you need the good things of life. So far I've made over $325k since September last year in raw profits from just q4 of the market from my diversified portfolio strategy and i believe anyone can do it if you have the right strategy, mutual funds takes long time but investing smartly is the key to short term. Most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest in the market to the cost of proper diversification.
@georgewilliam9978

@amandalaura8472 My portfolio is very much diversified so it's not like I have a particular fund I invest in, plus I don't do that but myself. I follow the trades of Karen Gaye Gray. She is a popular broker you might have heard of. I can correctly say she's worth her salt as a financial adviser as her diversification skills are top notch, I'm saying because I see that in her results as my portfolio grows by averages of 10 to 15% on a monthly basis, unlike I can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along, my portfolio just mirrors what she trades and not just on some particular industries of my choosing.

Didn't realize there were so many gorgeous women who were interested in curling..
The Turkish dude eating a rock "tastes nice'" what a legend
What I can see so far is what all these people are basically selling is, their passion, perseverance, dedication with the ultimate satisfaction of "giving" away a piece of themselves in exchange for lots of profit that allows them to keep working on their "legacy"..
Very interesting is the *"Pauwls"* (Pearls) farming..
Kenji is an absolute beast and his sowing partner is a grand master both are approaching the grave together and are at the end of a Legacy that won't be matched until the current apprentices reach the age of 50 minimum but tomako gets more praise and a higher pay packet because her eyes still work and her hands don't shake. It is disrespectful that at the end of a master's life when they can barely work any more the younger master's get more respect and make more money. When they should be on a pension and on daily pain relief. But they are judged and paid based on their profit margins based on what there skills and abilities are worked out to be worth against the youthful competition. If they dropped their standards they would be out of a job. None of you notice this because you are young and you have never done one single job for your entire life.

Truth is some things are so expensive because it was planned that way and there isn't anything special about some items other than it was controlled and limited in order to increase value. And sold to the rich.
600 aint expensive for the work and quality put into those curling stones
I would have liked curling.
Lost an eye from a shard breaking off while hammering the metal... no one wearing legit eye protection
So tragic that these days people don’t value the time skill & work that goes into weaving carving dyeing embroidery etc.
On the oboe. I inherited my mom’s clarinet. It’s made of wood with silver keys. I am ashamed I never appreciated what I have. I will be taking it in to the shop to get the pads replaced and the keys lubed and cleaned. What a piece of history handed down to me that I ignored because I liked the trumpet better.. smh
