Honestly, Jojo is a master marketer. When she was in dance moms, she wore bows all the time so that she was more noticeable. Now, she’s made a huge empire out of just her personality and fashion. Yeah I was the same. But I've also realised that she would probably come under fire if she did "act her age". If she acted like the majority of 17 year olds in the US (which includes revealing clothing, drinking, maybe doing drugs, having sex or talking about it alot and other stuff that adults wouldn't consider "appropriate") she would get complained about as well.

Comparing Jojo Siwa with most of KZread's biggest influencers, I would say that she's one of the best role models for young people. Her child-like demeanor makes her somewhat friendlier to her chosen audience and she chose to not change that style because she knew that (maybe) more than 90% of her subscribers and followers are kids.

I’ve never felt a certain way about her, I just now started to like her. We should be praising her for not dancing half naked like some other 17 year old influencers. I find a lot of people trying to appeal to kids are mocked for being immature and needing to grow up. Could you imagine if people criticised the Wiggles for making childish lyrics and being a bit over the top with all the bright colours and things? People don’t do that because we understand that’s because they have a target audience of children. I guess it's okay...but then again, if people (me included) find her to be a bit bratty, or make fun of her for some other reason, there's no harm being done, since it obviously doesn't matter to her. Edit: I think her "brattiness" is all a show. She's legally required to act that way so that she appeals to children so that Nickelodeon can make more money.

I have a 9 year old, he sometimes lands on her KZread. She encourages them to be happy being kids instead of trying to grow up too fast, which is awesome. When you look at the 10 year olds with their makeup channels, diet advice, questionable content pumped out from China 👀👀👀... As far as role models go, they could do a lot worse. Angel Wings even Danielle Cohn isn’t the problem, the biggest problem with her are her parents that capitalise off of her sexualising herself. Yes people should be allowed to be in control of their sexuality and not be shamed or bullied for it, but when she’s a minor it seems incredibly dodgy that her parents just let her do that. Especially when she has such a large following full of potentially very dangerous people. If anything I just feel bad for her instead of disliking her

The problem is when commentators like James don't actually *get* the point. Jojo is RIPPING into the haters with the birthday video, because James conveniently ignored the part of the video where she's pointing out that she's successful, making major $$$ on her merchandise (hence her name being everywhere). And she's stated in interviews that she's perfectly aware of how she comes off, but her character is for CHILDREN, so who gives af what old people think?
