SNT 3010 1/64th Scale Wrangler. The tiny 4x4 crawler just got better!

SNT is continuing to improve and refine its micro FPV cars. I had great fun with the first tiny crawler they produced, the Y60 - but I did have some suggestions about tightening up the suspension. So they did, along with a few other improvements, and now we have the new 3010 Wrangler to look at.

    I bought two of the cars, but found them pretty much unuseable, due to poor throttle control and poor turning radius. I saw the last review of the first crawler, and have been waiting on this one. Looks like they really did some excellent work on improving a lot of issues. I still have all the kit from the two cars, so all I need is 2 crawlers and I'm set. Thanks for the very good and through review, very helpful !

    The little racing cars can be challenging to control.. .but possibly more fun if you can have a race with a few friends. I love just going around exploring in the crawler though. I do need to build myself a more interesting tiny crawler course

    Shorter wheelbase vehicles generally do have a tighter turning radius, that's basic geometry don't act surprised.

    Neat. The only thing I would change is the speed should be a lot slower to be more realistic.

    Agreed - it's difficult to make tiny cars like this appear realistic as their springs and inertia is totally different than a larger car. I think you'd have to play it back in slow mo to look realistic

    I don't I'm afraid. I did contemplate taking off the wheels to pull out loads of hair, but I could quite see how and I didn't want to break it. Try dropping SNT an email to see if they can give you any disassembly info

    Hello, I have a question: can you give the controller a little gas? I mean whether you can give it a little gas and how is the steering?

  • @CurryKitten

    @CurryKitten

    5 ай бұрын

    Both the throttle and the steering are proportional, so there's a difference between giving it a small amount and a large amount of throttle. What I did find though, when reviewing the latest little crawler kzread.info/dash/bejne/mqKIj6WJgq2doZs.html&ab_channel=CurryKitten is that using a proper hobby grade controller will give you a lot more sensitivity in the throttle control

    Is the length of this rc the same as a hot wheels or matchbox? because I wanna use the internals of this rc and replace the shell with a Jurassic Park matchbox jeep to make some really cool photos

    You don't. Either use the radio that you cam get with it, or a FlySky radio, or a multiprotocol module that can use the FlySky protocol
