Tip: When you feel your vehicle slowing down, tap the clutch button. It'll force the transmission to downshift to the proper gear to give you most power for the speed your going at, and it'll keep your momentum up.

Finally it got up voted :D the same thing works for up shifts too :)

First thing I did was uncover the map by getting to all the watchtowers, then did all the bridge building and road clearing. With all the roads open and uncovered it's MUCH easier to find all the upgrades (that aren't hidden like the Fleetstar lift kit) and do all the tasks quickly.

The lift kit for the Chevy is by a watchtower on the side of the map near the town

Stop engines when you're not using them. In mudrunner idling didn't burn fuel. In this it does burn a lot of fuel.

Tip: You can find the scout 800 at the top left of the map there’s a house on the mountain to the left of the smithville dam.

One thing I can say is mud runner I was never able to get stuck, cause when you did just lightly press the throttle and it would go but this game you really get stuck

Tomcat: I know I need to explore and find watchtowers and upgrades, but first, I'll do contracts that require exploring blindly into the wilderness, then admire the scenery and game physics.

A good heavy his is hauling the construction trailer from the factory to the drill field. That is a huge heavy trailer. I liked it

This is why I do all watch points first. Then Bridges and road blocks. And there's a workaround for the rock slide towards the middle of the video. You could drive right around it on a trail.

I know where the Chevy lift kit is. So when you are heading into town, stop at the gas station and look left, it’s on that hill. It makes it easier to get the watchtower first.

TC Watchpoints help tremendously, when looking for alternate routes around the map.

I wish they would add some vehicles in it. Not like an over amount. Just some to take out the loneliness. And for the recovery missions of missing vehicles leave someone in it. Lol. That's just me. But I do love this game. Just bought premium yesterday

You can make life much easier by getting the waypoints first then clearing up the roads

I've been having a blast playing this, been spending my time doing the tasks in Michigan and Alaska to level up, grind money an get roads, bridges passes cleared an built so the main contracts go smoother

I took an offroad 6x6 with lift kit and mud tires but i still struggled.. Good thing i had another truck nearby to pull it out from deep mud.

You could have made that first trial run It’s shallow next to the wooden bridge, easy enough to drive through just takes longer Happened to me 😂

Watching you in this episode really does emphisise the need for sending a scout vehicle out first! Like 3 time he got stopped in his tracks, so funny!

Can we say squirrel......... Can you not swop the bug trucks tires to some kinda of off road tires to help with all your swamp hauling you out doing lol lol and you can always winch the trailer to you to save your self some grief

Recommendation get all the bridge built and go after these watched Towers before doing anything else

You need a scout to go in pole the trailer out to the bigger truck. I did the same thing had to get a scout an tow the big truck an then the trailer. I used the Khan 39 Marshall the little thing is a beast!

Mud tires on the Chevy are good as long as you don’t mind how slow it makes acceleration on the road

How come you didn’t unlock the watch towers so u could see the road work and bridges and stuff? It helped me a ton. Every map I do: Towers, upgrades, construction, tasks, and finally contracts Edit: I like ur vids and live-streams btw 😂 I forgot to mention that first

@@brycesteinkraus1522 I didn't realise that the winch was strong enough on the scout vehicles to pull something like a fuel trailer. Good stuff.

There should be a lift upgrade by one of the eastern lookout towers. Pretty sure it's closer to the starting point at the beginning of the game but not 100%. Just know it's the first upgrade I got

Harry Calenti I just went right off to the right of the bridge. It’s really shallow and you can easily cross. I was so triggered when he cancelled the mission! 😂

TC just wait till you go to Smithville. There are some absolutely AMAZING trails that will be great just to have fun.

HINT: tap LB if ur speed drops ull shift down and keep moving intead of ur truck almost stalling on the hill and stopping it keeps u going smoothly

Grab mud tyres so you won't having stuck problem.

you really need to get the roads done and the watchtowers done before anything else

The lift kit is the upgrade by the starting point of the game

You should travel in game more so you can build all the bridges.

LMFAO. I do watch towers then repair/fix all roadblocks, bridge repairs and just open up the roads before doing any timed missions.

Btw you can go into the map and look for the upgrades in the objects

Just a recommendation you should probably take the time to do all the watchtowers because it would help you out quite a bit

I was out exploring and I found the western star with that long wheel base with the flat bed, it’s in island lake, Michigan, the main way there is going into the tunnel farthes from the garage in smith ville, as soon as you get there there’s a dirt road to the right, got that way to the watchpoint, then it’s a contract

Winch the trailer to you then use the winch to pull you in the trailer out

You already have the lift kit unlocked

The ck1500 lift add-on is on black river some where. Lol

It's only worth doing a few tasks to make some money then scouting as much as possible to find all the trucks in Michigan - Black River for free. Sell ALL of them and buy the Paystar off road truck. All of those free trucks are garbage, they Paystar will go anywhere and will make progressing easier.

You know you can open the map while in the garage, you can skip night, and don't lift the Chevy, it becomes way too top heavy and flips too easily, unrealistically easy

Fleet star wish I keep. I lost it do to i put it in the garage then gmc and then the chevy 1500. So I only got 1500 and scout 800 and the Navistar 5000-MV . Work on getting the lockers for 1500 so get kudic or h2 hummer
