I agree. I like both the azov 73210 & the dan & I use both of them. However, I'm more inclined towards the 73210 for the stability & good turning circle. It's 10 tires transfers all that torque into pulling power. That infamous muddy uphill in Zimnegorsk... is no longer a problem for the 73210. The devs corrected the collision factors. Sure, that low nose rammed right into the rocks of every steep climb. But slow down, push & the 73210 now ploughs through defiantly. Some may avoid the 73210 for the low ground clearance but I find it enjoyable to bring around once I know the terrain well.

I love the increased amount of uploads. You were not lying when you said you were going to upload more. You are one of the most honest youtubers I have ever found

I slam it’s nose into the ground a lot and it still rarely takes damage

I don't get to game very often so cheers for this, I am at the stage now where I am looking for what is going to be a good choice heavy truck once I have saved my cash. Part of me wants to smash the container deliveries, but I love exploring the maps and always end up off piste climbing silly hills and squeezing between trees etc. I will concentrate on the tasks and earn enough one day!

The container delivery trick is good if impatient but I used it little myself. Exploring takes most of my time, I've actually not completed SnowRunner (although it's also because I'm making videos!).

The Vagrant Story mention caught me off guard! Phenomenal game!

I know this is our bonding point but best truck in the game! This truck is a must for the contract missions that require lots of different cargo. I once did three missions at once with it. Which included winching a vehicle behind a full sideboard bed and a full ramped flat bed trailer lol. Great video as always Ben.

Cheers Alex. I'm inclined to agree it could be the best truck in SnowRunner for versatility and price. If it had the P16/TUZ 420 mud tyre bonus it would be unstoppable.

Once I bought the azov 73210, I was really suprised with how good it was for the amount of negative feedback it was given at the time. I didn't even want to use any other trucks (even the DAN 96320 had to make way for it) The ground clipping with the azov 73210 is really not that blatant of an issue suprisingly. I rarely ran into troublesome spots and if there were, I never had to turn around and take a different route. The Russian Swiss army pocket knife has in my opinion the best versatility like you described it. Crane, spare tires, a flatbed and trailer... Even the option for the seismic vibrator module. It doesn't get any better than that. I'm happy to have taken a chance on the azov 73210 and I never regretted buying it

Ben,i liked that you told us about how you pay your bill and how you survive in these hard times...i was thinking to start a channel about aviation and aircraft simulators,but i have my ''real'' job for now and i am pretty satisfied with it...i am a car mechanic and i love to repair cars..sometimes i feel like quiting because i have to talk to every client for hours and to explain why and how i'll fix his problem/s...nowadays with All this information in internet everybody thinks he understands his car,but rarely this is true...and when he thinks he know how to fix it but ask me to do it for him its a problem...i can't explain all the reasons why this is happening,i am not that smart,but i am very good with cars and finding the problem,and fixing it... :) i wish for life going well for you,me and everyone,and i wish people were more peaceful and with good manners...i am trying hard to be like that,but sometimes its so hard when some guy talks s*it in your face and believes in it to be the truth...in your job youre doing it exactly like you want and thats sooo much easyer...yes,there is bad comments sometimes,but its nothing like someone coming in your house and tell you how to make this exact video,because he things its the right way...what you say about the money varyating from month to month,be sure this is happening everywhere...in my work is the same way...sometimes i have good paying jobs/repairs sometimes i am working all day for nothing and i hate myself for doing favors and ''small'' fixes for friends and old clients because everytime these small things are taking more time then we think and i lose money when i cancel a call or someone wants to fix his car now on the spot,but i am busy with some stupid/not paying thing...ive lost clients that way,new clients...i need new clients...some well paying ones :) soo i wish you luck and stay strong,work hard and keep the videos coming...

Honestly, I LOVED it. The whole premise was great, multiplayer but on a film set with really cool settings. Would be perfect for a remake with online multiplayer.

Definitely a close fight, I seem to alternate between the two for most tasks these days. The lower overhang is a pain sometimes, for sure.

I would go with Azov 73210 any day,i think it is more stable and although the suspension looks low it performs very well,can be used for medium or long logs too and has many usefull addons.

I still use it all the time, though the FEMM 37-AT and Kenworth 963 do also get a go.

I use the azov as a crane/recovery truck. The heavy winch is super useful

Nice video :) grats once more. Is it possible to unlock Quarry easily at low ranks to get DAN ? I have both Tayga and Paystar but I am not sure if any of them can do it with just the very basic all-terrain tyres.

It's possible yeah. The mission Looking Beyond the Horizon mission involves delivering 1x metal planks, 2x service parts and 1x cargo container to the Radar Tower. That gets you into the Quarry. You also have to do the Geological Exploration mission, where you have to scan some areas using the Seismic Vibrator addon. And then find Mr DAN. Or something like that, it's been a while since I did it!

Azov is definitely the winner especially under heavy load. Had them both in amur and the DAN always gets implanted in snow and mud due to fewer wheels which makes it struggle and waste lots of fuel which made me give up on it

I'd agree. The 73210 is best with that new large crane, which highlights its sheer power and wheel number. Even when reduced ground clearance it just seems to keep on trucking.

For 5th gear put it in high then straight back to auto when you first start moving

Dan is a crane truck, plane and simple. Suspension is too low for long haulin. Wide and low makes great stability for that massive crane though.

Hey, I would like to know why you consider the TMHS tyres superior to the MSH II tyres, as the MSH has a lot more grip in mud.

I made a typo in my Tayga tyre video, the MSH tyres seen on heavy trucks are best overall in mud. But I found the TMHS seem to do better overall than the MHS II and MHD III although it also depends on driving style as I said in said video. Surface area probably plays a role yeah.

My wife does not understand what may be interesting in being stuck in virtual mud, and I'm unable to find a single explanation why does playing this game is fun, yet... it is SO MUCH FUN! Yeah the premise of SnowRunner is so dull on paper. But I have no regrets sinking hours into it. It's just enjoyable. Hard to explain as you said.

Tayga, Voron AE or D, Azov 64131. Mud tyres. Maintenance trailer behind can help make you less tippy and worry less about fuel.

Both are good, but if I had to pick 1 I'd pick the DAN. Azov 10X10 may have more versatility, but it catches it's front to much offroad. DAN is overall better. Only problem with DAN is you can't have flatbed + crane.

@@ATribeCalledCars It's not the height really. If the Azov 10X10 had a shorter nose, it'd be a beast. But it's nose is so long you'd need a pretty drastic lift kit on to make it a true offroader, which would then ruin it's stability.

@@ATribeCalledCars Just for the extremely unlikely case that you're actually serious: Hunting down who owns the rights for Phantom Crash and its PS2 sequel might be a bigger hurdle than the price, given how relatively unknown the franchise is. If you do it, don't forget to contact MS that they can include it in their backwards compatibility program as they need the rights holders permission since their method of enabling BC technically counts as redistribution of the game. Who knows, a resurrected Xbox classic might turn out to be a good investment - even beyond the joy of riding a Photon again.

I put the heavy crane on the Dan and it's not great. Considered selling it and buying the Azov instead but I wasn't sure, as the Azov looked to be even lower to the ground.

@@ATribeCalledCars The issue I had was that the heavy crane was sitting so low the anchors were dragging through the deep mud and the DAN would get completely stuck. Part of me wonders if the 73210 would perform any better.

In the end I sold my Step and bought the 5319. Put the heavy crane on it and I'm using the DAN as a hauler.

Last time I was this early I didn't even own a XBOX.... ^_^

Yes it can be a pain, but it's good at making up time in other areas so balances out. Most of the time.

The DAN is more limited in what it can do but very capable. I sometimes use it for the really heavy stuff. The 73210 is better than the Tayga in many respects but it is less fun.

Question: Why do you call it D.A.N? Wouldn't it be just simpler to call it Dan?

It's all capitals so an acronym plus it's based on the BAZ 6402 and that's also one. But it's not a real thing so could just be Dan yeah.

I use it when the engine isn't going to conk out. It's slower so I avoid it sometimes depending on the terrain.
