SNOWED In At A Cabin In Minnesota // North Shore Lake Superior Airbnb

The north shore of Minnesota holds a very special place in my heart and feels like home to me every time I visit. Sometimes there's a winter storm on the way and it's time to get snowed in at an amazing airbnb on the north shore of Lake Superior.

This felt like a movie, I've always wanted to live in Minnesota, and as much as I love warm weather, there's something about that winter gloom that's just so attractive and homey. Duluth is definitely a place I want to call Home someday

I'm from the Twin Cities. I've been going to the North Shore since I was 6 months old. My son's first time up there was when he was 3 months old. Every year, we go to Grand Marais at least 2 times a year. In August, for a family trip and in October for hunting.

Like your lawn at the old homestead, it is a true work of art it goes beyond the KZread creator awards in my opinion, so thank you. My wife and I are from the twin cities, and the north shore is our favorite place to visit.

Hi Ryan, you drove right through my home area on I-35. We love going to Duluth and the North Shore, Two Harbors and Superior Shores Resort. Spent our honeymoon there many years ago. Hopefully you tried our Betty’s Pies just a little North of the resort. Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock Lighthouse! For food in Duluth try Little Angie’s Cantina in Canal Park for Mexican food. On the south end of Duluth try Clyde Iron Works. Mmmmm. Great video and photos!

Ryan, I've watched your channels for several years and rarely comment on any video I watch, but I wanted to let you know I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Your photography, the music (both yours and background), and your narrative are spectacular. Your film brought me back to my trips to those same areas and I could feel your peaceful respite. My husband and I are fortunate enough to own a remote vacation home on a much smaller Minnesota lake in the north woods forest, and that's how I feel every time I'm there. For 17 years of the 25 years we've owned the land, our place was an tiny, 1940's cabin with no running water and an outhouse, but our family enjoyed that journey as well. Thank you for this video!

I came for the lawn care but what I’ve gotten is so much more. You have an uncanny ability to frame the simple or often overlooked parts of our lives in a completely different light. I also may be partly to do with my age (guessing we’re around the same age) but it’s great to reminisce and I seem to have a rejuvenated appreciation for the journey and the experiences along the way. Very well done Ryan, thanks again for taking us along.

Stunning photography and videography! And your voice-overs are always spot-on! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Thank you for taking us along on your "solo" trip, it was wonderful! ❤ Just an idea: you should take that edited photo of the shoreline (the one you posted on Instagram) & print it out in an 11x14, frame it in simple edged pine wood and present it to the owners of this AirBnB. They would surely treasure it and it would find pride-of-place in their cabin and you, might, just get yourself a free weekend out of it 😉

We visited the Duluth/Two Harbors area for the first time last year over the Labor Day Weekend. We were in the Sandstone area for a wedding. The bride ended up in the hospital, so the wedding was canceled. We used the time to head up the north shore. I absolutely loved Lake Superior! We had beautiful weather, and the way the sun glistened on the water was so relaxing--quite different from your winter experience. My husband spent his whole career at 3M, so seeing the birthplace of 3M was a bonus. Being from Iowa, I love the changing seasons, so maybe we'll make it up there sometime in the winter.

Can very much relate to the change in scenery living in Michigan the southern part of the state is flat and farms and as you progress north it gets more and more hilly more and more wooded then once you cross the bridge its really a completely different place in the UP. Rocky heavily wooded untouched beauty and alot of snow in winter for actives too

We don`t get the snow down here anymore, like when we were kids, but they sure do up there.
