@@Jay-nu1bl Stellar Blade is single player and it sold incredibly well. Another game from the same dev, NIKKE, also extremely high on fanservice, is very popular gacha. Snowbreak was released without any fanservice and it failed completely and utterly. Then it added fanservice and doubled-down on it and now it gets more and more successful because of it. If you don't have anything smart to say and if you're absolutely clueless, then maybe don't say anything at all. You'll look smarter.

As a new English speaking player, I'm definitely disappointed to hear the english va got all political and left, but if that's what it takes for good fanservice then so be it😢

Snowbreak's company know what they're after. They know making statements like this will make the playerbase happy. They decided to go the fanservice route and are keeping the word (aparently). Well, I choose japanese voice acting in the majority of games I play. No english VA wouldn't be a problem for me. I'm not in favor of censorship in any way. If you don't like what a product presents to you, go consume something else that pleases you. There's tons of content out there that catters the "female gaze" as well.

If only Western developers had this much spine......

Most of the va for the JP version are women as well by the way and they don't have a problem with fanservice.

Yeah I agree. I don't like JP or CN voices but I'd rather the game not get tame and stay lewd. I'm hoping in the future there will be more base features that can be interactive because while I like the interactive stuff I don't necessarily like that it's limited to the skins only especially since now some bond story content is locked behind the skins with the new wedding skins. Maybe more general dorm interactions can be added in the future but specific animations can still be tied to the skins so people are still getting value for their purchases.

The people that play BD2 and SBCZ play it for gameplay but also because we love sexy waifu's and (BD2Husbando's). As a society, we feel like we need to cancel anything that offends someone regardless of legality. In reality, if a company doesn't give in to social pressure, the only recourse these tourists have is by not playing the game or spending money in anything from the developer. The funny part is they already don't, so it's no loss.

That's wrong they were cut loose due to financial failure then AFTER the fan service started and they saw a revenue increase they attempted to get the en va back but they didn't want to due to taking fanservice route. The en va did not leave cause of fanservice they simply refused to return after it started

game started like many similars big and fall fast, there wasnt much player eyecandy to keep them checking or even spend money, so last hope events and fanservice which in these days is dead on west and they discover ppl like fanservice, and it is 3D not just l2d, money start coming, game have 40day event cycles, more and more fun stuff so ofcourse they will continue, they are not disney or ubisoft to turn off money for few x cry turists ...

Those English voice actors who refused to work with Snowbreak are truly stupid. Saying no to a job and easy money, what a joke!

Snowbreak should have the right to make the game they want. My fear is the lolis. I'm glad they kept those interactions PG/PG-13. Don't want School Days level ew. As many have noted, the fanservice saved the game from EOS. I wouldn't kill the golden goose because of political correctness.
