It’s actually a very well written and comprehensive book kzread.infoUgkxhgbP-6hUnXu_QRaoHgLztgsI0YF3HqR0 . I wanted to pair this with an updated book on local codes to start planning a post-retirement dream shop. I think I have just about everything I need between the two. The extra plans available for purchase towards the end are priced almost as much as full home plans, not little sheds however.
Haha cool place and good sense of humor. Had a lot of good lines, my favorite was: "It could have been anything that started the fire, it was probably the ashes I set out there in a cardboard box, but it could have been anything. Hard to say."

Judging by the outside I thought this was gonna be totally gypsey style full of nick nacks but it's really minimal.
The converted Fire engine is cool and unique! But this is the first time that I was more interested in the owner of the vehicle then the vehicle itself . He is quite the character !

This kid is like a low key comedian. So many great quotes. "It kinda runs like shit." "It screams for too much attention." "I'm either traveling or injured." "I built a house on wheels to stay put." "It's comfortable but not too comfortable so people don't over stay their welcome." Hilarious.

“I’m either traveling or injured.” “I built a house on wheels to stay put.” “I dunno, I was just learning how to cook. If you knew how to cook, you could probably make anything on this.” “Fruit baskets I thought were kind of dorky, it is dorky. But it’s kinda nice.” “We got maple syrup down the side of this cabinet. *eats* Aw, man, my maple syrup spilled again. Still good though.”

That is the coolest looking Vanlife adaptation ever...
I love this dude's personality/sense of humour! Seriously, could watch him all day :-)
This is without a doubt one of the coolest tiny homes on wheels I've seen. This guy's a genius.
After observing his personality outside, I assumed the inside would be a hellish mess but it is a stunning tiny space. I ❤ every inch of his home I feel terrible for judging his home prematurely. I was wrong. Such great content, FLORB!

It’s great that you were willing to recognize you were wrong. Today most people are incapable or unwilling to do so. Having said that, there is nothing wrong with making assumptions based on first impressions. That’s why first impressions are important. What is wrong is to stick with those preconceived opinions if they turn out to be wrong.
"Hows it goin? I'm Austin Smith. This is my firetruck or "micro dojo" I already know enough about this guy to know that a 10 minute video is not long enough.
Austin, Love the wheels. Just a heads up. If you put in a piece or two of green wood with dried wood when you go to bed. First three hours dries out wood then it will burn. Probably make it to morning that way. Way cool rig.
Also... he totally calls that suit "Bernie" from Weekend at Bernies. Wonderful
“Have been meaning to do that for the last 8 months” 😂 This guy is hilarious

Never get bored of seeing the many different variations of tiny houses... They are all unique and cool in their own way!
I never knew you could do this. I stayed home, went to my local college, got my local job, and live 20 minutes from my parents. As much as I would miss him, I hope my boy does this for a little while.
The final sentence is priceless!! “This is on the left when it should’ve been on the right - it’s all the little things in tiny spaces - it’s the little things that make all the difference.” Perfect editing!!! Thanks Dylan Lauri

I like how it's so open & uncluttered. It's the opposite of living in a van, yet is still mobile. It has more floor space than most RVs. I'd love the simplicity of living in a van, but my claustrophobia says no, no, NO! A Diesel engine swap is a great idea. Expensive, but would be so much more reliable & economical than his current engine. Cool video.

Dylan Magaster just the way the front part of the truck looks So pretty. 😊
This guy bleeds bro energy and I would spend all my time with him during the winters when it’s too cold to surf. I’m literally dying at how quietly sarcastic and how randomly he slides in just like the jokes with a straight face like “Now we’re in the dining room” and “aww my fruit basket”
What a simple, cosy and cool truck/home! Funny and sarcastic guy! Thumbs up for him

Mt Bachelor is by far my favorite place to snowboard. My friends parents used to live 20min from the slopes. I'd go there every year for a week.
Your many video studies in small-scale mobile living just keep getting better and better. I've shared this video, and always look forward to the next one. Big thanks!
I love how he's like, ya I sleep here and stuff and it's pretty cool and ya that's basically it
Love how humble this guy is. It makes it look a lot easier to actually make and live in one of these.
dude the bindings on the ceiling is a great idea thanks for the tour. I'm doing the bindings
Sick man, didn't know Austin Smith was living the van life. He's a really good rider, have heard of him before he wan Transworld rookie of the year maybe 10 years ago. Always nice when there are other extreme sport athletes featured on the channel
Oh man! That is a FANTASTIC Tiny home!! LOVE IT ❤️
Super SWEET dojo pad, dude!!! Love it!!! Its a gorgeous tiny log cabin lookin' thing on the outside, yet such a beautiful, light, spacious and open lovely space on the inside! I LOVE it and would LOVE living in such a great space! Great job. And even ghough it makes me understand that you may have frustrations becausecof its old engine and breaking down, I just LOVE that you told us all not to fret about the decision but to accept it and live with it and it'll be ok!!!! Good job!
This is the most authentic review of anything I think I've ever seen
I agree…get a shell and live in it to see what you need. We have a 6x10 CTC and the metal specialist who made our transforming bed gave us good advice not to build underneath to see if we’d need drawers/separators. Family of 4, what we bring changes on where we go. Can fit boats & poles, paddles on bed and underneath the whole length.👌
This guy is hilarious! :D
Nice setup! Love to see other people's builds
BRILLIANT boot warmer! Good job dude, those little ideas are treasures!
"micro dojo"....aaannnnd it broke down. But really, it's awesome! Thanks for making the world a more interesting place.
Beautiful! So much space and a proper-looking kitchen. Headroom.
By far the my favorite Vanlife home. This is sick!
I wasn't expecting it to be so nice on the inside. Steamed artichokes--nice! Enjoy! Stay safe, warm and uninjured. 😊
Fun seeing snow especially Batchelor. That was my home mountain for three years. Is boards look very venerable. Loved that guy in the snowsuite. He did a great job, although it's a lot of space.
wow this is my dream off grid vehicle ! awesome thanks for the inspiration! keep up the good work
Too cool. I have been watching Craigslist for a while now and would like to build one of these sometime. I have serious physical complications but where there is a will there is a way. Thanks Austin Smith and Dylan Magaster for this great truck/home video. Awesome stuff.
This is my favorite house tour ever. Yeah pretty much.

Easily my favorite vehicle conversion BECAUSE it's an old firetruck. That's flippin' great.
Damn, this guys is too chill and too real, I love it. Cool truck as well!
Thanks for inspiring us all! I plan to be in a van or motorhome vehicle by the fall!
I was looking at the rail on that porch and I was thinking, "That faux finish REALLY looks like brass." Seems like it is. Great idea. That is a sweet set-up.
I think this takes the cake as my favorite off the grid house!
I saw your truck at Mt Bachelor a few weeks ago. Awesome to see it in person.
He must be a Taurus ♉️😆 Love his dry sense of humor and the cleanliness of his build ✊🏾
This is so awesome in its simplicity. Love it!
This was one of the coolest mobile tiny homes I've seen...
Man I love Central Oregon so much. I've lived here my whole life.
Freaking excellent adventurous outlook on things! Outstanding camper truck (micro-home)!
Keep it up! I love the van/camper conversions!
Does he not live in his firetruck full time? I love how the inside looks completely different from the outside. From the outside, I'd expect the inside to be log cabin-ish but the stark white walls are a very clean look and makes it look bigger
Mt bachelor is only 20 min from me now in Sunriver! So awesome to see people where I’m at 💕😉
comfortable. but not too comfortable! haha
amazing channel dude, this truck is so full of character, what a lifestyle!
Love your vids man! Keep it up!

Pretty nice place, not sure why he's called it a 'dojo' and the boot drying is pretty genius, but he has a mullet, that's unforgivable.
