This is one of the best nature footage videos I've seen on KZread, thank you for posting!

My grandfather was from Austria, and today he passed away. He loved the alps and music endlessly. I had this playing for him continuously during his last couple of days, and in his final moments here in his world. It brought him so much peace as he transitioned. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

So very sorry for your loss ! My Mom was from Eisenstadt, Austria. She has been gone for 11 years and I still miss her. Austria is a wonderful country ... friendly/healthy people and life styles, absolutely delicious foods, and the scenery is enchanting and fairy tale like. Merry Christmas to You and Yours !!! From beneath the white kiss of the northern winters woes, one soul emerges from the glacial mist. She peddles glass snowflakes, and tells her buyers that the promise of new places can be found in their reflection. One day she rises to greet blankets of snow, robbing sight of the path she must take to her customer. The full of winter fills the air like the cold embrace of a fabled frozen world. She presses her hand beneath the layer of frost as if to recover her feet, and picks but a single stone from its undercoat. A stone reveals itself to show faded colours of white and grey. "A marble?" She whispers in a shaking tone of voice. She grasps it close to her face to lay a gasp of fleeting warmth upon it, her breath blessed as if to transfer to another when touched. She follows the horizon before her, still visibly distant from clarity on the road she travels. Yet, with every tread the scene rises in familiarity, ever so slightly and with every awkward step. She soon rests by a riverside, her reflection piercing back at her through the cracks of water tearing through the ice that sleeps above it. She takes a closer look and realises, the truth her own mind stole from her. Years before, in a world unencumbered by perpetual snowfall, the remembering of loneliness that attracts to her every waking day. And the truth of her reflection, the customers she peddles with, marked with a face identical to her own, following her every move, glancing back at themselves, through her turquoise filtered eyes. With a breath she brings herself to her feet. And from the corner of her ear, a godlike rumble of snow decending from its summit. She bears not one look, only forward, fixed upon the waterflow, leading away to a lake of mist, her starting point. With a soft surge and gush of sharp air. The image is swept from sight... The peddler and her guise washed away beneath the storm of frost. Her marble rests back where it was found, with another story encased within, the story of the peddler, and her ghosts of reflection...

I have watched this film several times today and can’t say which is my favorite as it’s all pretty magnificent. I do have to say I really enjoyed the scene of the reindeer running down the road - that was pretty spectacular!

Well I also love all the ocean scenes with the ice as well as the aerial scenes that I think were filmed in Europe with the small villages. And the aerial shots from directly above with the frosty trees below were gorgeous! Plus the bright red train going over the bridge was pretty amazing. I also love the calm & peaceful background music that you can play for hours at a time without it being too loud or annoying. It is all just incredible & impossible to say which is my favorite so keep up the good work - bravo!
