I first heard this song while I was in the mental hospital after a suicide attempt. Me and three other girls got a guards phone and one of the songs the girls, her name was Britney, played was this. When I left the facility and went home, I immediately listened to this. Now, 3 years later I’m back here to listen. I’ve powered through my depression I’ve grown. I’m an adult now, looking forward to my future, but I wanted to stop here one last time to say goodbye to the past me. This song is gonna remind me of all the hardships I went through to get to where I am now.

It does for me too man. When I was just a baby my dad used to play this song and iris by the goo goo dolls constantly around me and it created so many memories. It reminds me of the old times when life was so much easier and we had no worries but now 16 years later I'm 16 and gone through 5 years of severe anxiety and depression and these 2 songs have always been here for me and guided me through it all when I had nothing left and had no one

WOW.... so many GREY'S ANATOMY fans here.... Never heard this song before I saw the show. Really like it.... Just saw the episode with Derek dying...... Just stunned...... Powerful how your emotions can get invested in a t.v. drama.... I was SO INVESTED in E.R. and with DR. GREEN dying and the new version of OVER THE RAINBOW by the singer from Hawaii.... Had never heard that either, but I ALWAYS seem to "relive" those final episodes about Dr. Green dying in Hawaii..... and now GREY'S ANATOMY.... My sister and I have been watching the episodes on LIFETIME in these past few months for the first time and so we got invested in the characters really fast.... and very strongly already... Love the characters..... Miss George and Izzy.... Really wanted them to have a future together.... I really thought they would get together..... I still like to believe that she is still alive and in remission..... I was strongly affected by Callie's accident and she was "out of her body" singing.... and then other characters were singing....That episode was amazing to me....

every time i hear this song i start bawling. my parents played it as the slow dance song at their wedding, it was playing in the hospital when i was born, this song has always been a part of my life, but now my parents are divorced and still fighting, and i... i really don't want to be in this world anymore. but still, somehow, the tears that come with this song remind me that life can still be worth it. it's like this song reminds me that I'm human. i can't seem to find the right words to describe how much this song means to me. this song applies to all of the people I've loved, even though none of them loved me the way i wanted. this song still makes my parents think of eachother, despite how much they don't want to. when snow patrol wrote this, they probably never assumed that this many people would be affected... but this song has saved my life a few times, helping me get out my emotions before i burst. if you got this far, thanks for caring... i hope you have an amazing day/night, i hope that you can maybe feel a little more okay, i hope you know that somewhere, someone you may not have met yet loves you more than either of you knows. stick around, try and meet them, even if it's just 2 seconds at the store or a nod on the street. cuz they needed that. so yeah. stay alive.

I am watching this is 2017, and this song made me cry because it says "Just lie with me" and my kitty disappeared and I am pretty sure she died, but she was my favorite and she loved to lay with me, and I miss her so much, now it's so hard to listen to this song, A cat is not just a cat, it's also your family, if your cat dies, it's like losing your baby, in my opinion. I cried for two nights and people call me stupid because it's just a cat, but this cat meant more to me than any other animal.
