My wife is from a country without snow. It was interesting. "You don't want the cute jacket, you want the big, warm poofy one." Then on her first snow she was amazed at how beautiful it was. Then her wedding ring slipped off in the cold. Lost in the snow. Never found. She stopped liking snow that day.

Id lovr to see a series on this i grew up in new Jersey for years then moved to a virgina almost ten years ago and people freak out with snow i just chain my truck tires put in in four wheel drive and lock my dif and i have no problemand let me tell you pulling people out of the snow is a good business as well as plowing

ahyes the heavy snow glad i no longer have to shovel that crap anymore because thats most of what NL snow is but being the community and the way of life where everyone relies on everyone my neighbour has a plow truck and plows everyone out once a day and if im going out and he hasnt shown up yet i just holler off my porch and one of the other neighbours will come over with a snow blower to blow me a path. the only down side was getting to the shed because the huy that plowed for me just piled everything infront of the ramp so i had to wait for that to melt enough to get my cart over it the trecking through 3 feet wasnt all that bad until i found the frozen puddle and fell i just tunneled to the door and dragged myself inside
