Or lying. Mistakes are human. Obviously dude made a bad call... maybe its all in good fun but public shaming seems a little much. He cost the company tiime and money, but treating the man like a moron, seems like a bad call too.

if my memory is right not to mention any names like the guy holding the video camera LOL and a few other guys got the General stuck in a swamp trying to pull out 2 stuck trucks and Michael came out with the 50 ton Rotator to pull sarge out of the swamp so i am not picking on Jason for getting stuck i think he did a good job and he knew when to stop and call for help BUT man i bet he spent a few hours washing that roll off

Give Jason a break, he was just doing his job. If you never had something go south on you, it is just a matter of time. Never crap on a person who is having a bad day.

Never gotten stuck in mud. However definitely should have a couple times in a semi. My partner took our semi we were in down a road just like that. When I came out of the bunk and realized what was happening. I told him to clutch it. Then reached up and locked the power divide. Luckily we made it out.

@@raylz19 they are just having fun, lighten up! We've all made mistakes, they admitted it in the video. They are only trying to put a little laughter in the situation, which there's nothing wrong with that.

I work part time for the Wenatchee Reclamation District and I once back a dump truck over the outside edge, we call it the road side, the other side is called the canal side of a road, with the rear duels on the passenger side, it was about a 1/4 mile drop to the bottom and I was glad the truck stopped sliding, did I mention it had been raining all night and was drizzling when the incident happened. The nice thing is almost everyone of the 36 miles of canal road have some gravel on them. I was backing around a S corner when the passenger rear duels went over and I stopped but when I tried to pull forward the trucks weight along with the load of canal cleanings caused the back end to slid over. It may be embarrassing but stopping and calling out for help is the right thing to do. All the guys may rib you but as all the guys told me I wasn't the first one and wont be the last one to do it. This was your learning experience Jason, glad you weren't hurt...

Monday morning quarterbacking is probably not what anyone needs. These things happen every day somewhere, someone operating a Wrecker Big, Medium, Small including Flatbeds gets stuck. We all have done it in our time. I'd say good job stopping and not burying it to the frame and admitting what you did. I have went out and winched out stuck wreckers from other companies and the operator paid cash and begged us not to say anything becaude he didn't want to call in to his dispatch and admit he got stuck. That I think would be grounds for terminating someone but it happens. Stay safe out there guy's...

As a retired operator with 20+ years experience I've only gotten stuck twice Once when I was a rookie The second time I got stuck I had many years experience and I let a cocky attitude fueled by greed and stupidity Talk myself into doing something I knew shouldn't of been done To add insult to injury I was the guy at this company that when other drivers got stuck I was sent out to save them Personally where your driver got stuck I would of taken one look at that road and told the customer the same thing I've told customer's before If your little lite weight vehicle got stuck What do you think is going to happen when I drive this big ass truck out there? Your driver should of called dispatch explained the situation and gone from there That's my 2 cent's
