Julie says “No Joe. No.” 😝 You see it’s all part of my master plan to upgrade machines one day. I put Julie on the BX in rotten weather with snow and sleet blowing in her face and she’ll “need” something with a cab!! Thanks for watching!!

Not sure how to solve this to be honest. Maybe a pair of custom snow blower skis like Dave over at @RCAFpolarexpress ... something to keep the blower higher off the ground but still allows the blower to function in 'float' ... normally I would plow until the ground is frozen before switching to the blower - but this year that's not going to happen. Cheers buddy.

@@KillingItCountry ya I have the same issue this year. I've seen some people add PVC pipe along the cutting edge and that seems to do well. Slice it down the center, and drill holes in the ends and use ratchet straps to hold it on the blower bottom.

Those drone shots make it look like you're doing a promotional video for "Kubota North"

In all fairness of full disclosure, I am not a snow removal enthusiast. I am not a snow enthusiast of any kind. I just like watching “ Killing ItCountry” on you tube.

We have a lot of snow here. Over 2 feet. Julie is really doing well learning to drive all this equipment. My wife won't even use the snow shovel lol. In the next episode, James shoots the video from the comfort of his warm house ( by the window with a cold beer in his hand)) as Julie makes trails and cleans up the snow. Now is it real drone footage or just a 12-foot piece of bamboo with the camera taped to it? ( Are you watching Luc?) Fun video. Take care.

It’s real I’m promise …. I was operating just on the edge of my drones temperature abilities. Anything colder than -10°C and I have to pack it in. I love it when she comes outside to help … second person is a game changer!!

I have a gravel driveway too, I lowered mine to the bottom as well… I may raise it up one notch, I got some gravel too… The weather has been so up and down it’s hard to get the base built… And Julie did a nice job :)… Question: does your drone have the auto follow feature and does it work with the BX? Mine has it but it won’t follow the tractor for some reason.

Hi Andrew! We have the DJI Mavic Zoom and t does have the auto follow but its not as smooth as I'd like it to be. The DJI Osmow that I sometimes use has a nice follow option with the bluetooth adapter. You just have to make sure that you're working with major contrasting colours ... Orange tractor against the greenery of the forest works well for example. Everything you said about the base layer not freezing is spot on! Have a great week!

Hi Andrew, I'm in Ontario as well, but we didn't have a good freeze before lots of snow so the ground is still soft so I keep catching my Woodchip road or the gravel driveways.

@@RossOnTheLand Sorry so late for reply, its been a busy few weeks... Yes I can imagine the woodchip issue with the soft ground :( and it's probably worse at the time of this reply.
