Cham Island, also known as Cu Lao Cham, is a captivating and pristine archipelago nestled in the South China Sea, just off the coast of Hoi An in Vietnam. Cham Island is comprised of eight islets, each offering its own unique charm and character.
Day Trips to Cham Island are very convenient and can be done from Hoi An or Da Nang. Taking speedboat to the island is the easiest option to reach. The journey takes around an hour depending on sea condition.
I booked a day trip through Klook which includes round transportation from Hoi An, speed boat journey, food, excursion at island and snorkelling with gear. I paid total Rs. 2,100 INR. The same tour is available from Da Nang also.
Cham Island is a snorkeler's paradise in South China Sea. The waters around the islands are home to diverse marine life, including colorful coral reefs, various species of fish, sea urchins and more. The best time for snorkeling in Cham Island is during the dry season, which typically runs from February to August. During this period, the sea is calmer, and visibility is better, allowing you to fully enjoy the underwater beauty.
