I just brought one from Walmart a fews days ago and I'm disappointed the only reason I purchased it was just in case the power went off during Ian cause I live in Florida,I had backup to listen to the news and to my surprise I got played!What good is it if it actually doesn't work with batteries itself I can get the time from my phone.im glad it was only about 14$.

I bought it for my kids they love the sound on it and it's good almost as good as big huge stereo and the alarm is crazy though it goes off when not turn on on the weekends

Love clock but why does alarm still go off even whn not turned on

Good news! I was able to _carefully_ pull off the crystal with a suction cup. Then the pink accent is just a paper circle lying against the face. Though I could have traced the paper and cut a new circle, I just flipped this one so the pink faces inside. Pink isn't so terrible, but I like white better.

That's the antenna for use with the radio. Do not cut it.

So how do you set the alarm for radio instead of chime?

I'm surprised to say, this is actually better than earlier ONN model AAABLK100008726. The display is smaller at 6/10 of an inch, but the sound is a bit richer and the FM reception is just as good. No question, this is a cheap set at around $13 U.S., but it's great for falling asleep with the countdown timer. Not mentioned here, there are ten station presets. They get accessed by the Alarm button while the radio is on. Hold down the button while on the station you want to save. Then up or down to the preset you want to use, then press Alarm again. Then the alarm button will cycle through presets -- while listening to radio.

Tell me a thing I’m concerned about is if we can set more than one alarm

At 4:38 you can see how to deactivate the alarm. It's just a single click. A single click to deactivate the snooze mode, and one more click to completely deactivate the alarm.

At 8:14 you can see me disconnecting it from the power source. It will not display time without power, but it will remember the time when the power comes back if there are batteries installed.
