I’ve read in a interview that often, he would just show up to the studio, give a listen to the beat and just write down his verses in like 30min. Especially for the commercial songs he made with Guetta and co. He has so much practice that he makes it look easy

@@MK-vi2cm 'she's strange'. The vocal sample is from slave but it's cameos sounds and style. Listen to thier hits. He takes alot of older black artists styles. His singing is taken curtis Mayfield. On his track Happy the harmonies and style is taken from James Moss. Pharell was sued for flagrantly copying Mavin Gayes track he denied it at first he denied it but the smart lawyer found an interview where he basically admits it. Dont get me wrong he is an awesome producer and has some uniqueness but he takes alot from great artists.

This song never gets old. I can remember exactly where I was when I first heard it. Pharell is not given enough credit for the amazing hooks he has done over the years.
Finally it's unblocked!! The beat is so smoooth and addictive as hell. Miss when we had variety like this in the mix smothering R&B/Hip-Hop hits, now everything is reduced to one-leaning sound (trap) and that's about it. I miss this era in music so damn bad. Pharrell did the damn thing on this cut.
