Smoaks South Carolina here. I'm with John Garret, wish we had more snooker here in the states. There isn't a single snooker table in South Carolina as best I can tell, but I do have the gear and play 10 reds on pool tables when I can get the chance.

I know Snooker is having more events around the world right now than ever before. This is unlikely to get a table near you any time soon unfortunately

Me too. No Snooker tables, anywhere, for the public to play on, that I can find. I have heard , rumors, of one but they're just rumors. I am reduced to playing 6-ball Snooker, alone, on an 8 foot pool table, because I just can't get my pals to play anything but eight or nine ball. I live on the beautiful snow covered North Shore of the United States Rochester, New York. BTW, my money is on an O'Sullivan vs Trump for tomorrow's Masters final.

@@evanno9685 -- Heck, I'd be happy with a 10 foot table. I carry the balls and cue and play 10 reds on bar tables on the rare occasion I can get someone to play.

Maybe worth to mention to stay very still on the shot. Most tend to follow the white with the body when they try to split. Missing the pot is then the result. Speicher, Appenzell Ausserrhoden , Switzerland

I think my main issue when it comes to snooker, well apart from using my 9-ball cue which I can make work, is I can't bring myself to use more than about 30% of the power I'd use for a similar shot on a pool table and drive the shot into the back of the pocket with top/back spin as the snooker table I play on as it's quite an old table that has been well looked after.

I did use my Snooker cue to play 9 ball once. I think that is what broke it.

Usually when they play a shot that goes well for them that they clearly didn’t play. If there is any doubt they usually try to claim they played it.
