The reason pro snooker players dont usually win at pool is because theyre different games and the top pro pool players have some nuance that gives them the edge. But they still can compete with the pro pool players. Put a pro pool player against even a good amateur in snooker and they will not even compete. So there is the answer... Yes snooker is harder, but the best pro pool players are better at pool than the best pro snooker players.

2006 uk pool final : selby vs appleton. One went and became 4 times snooker world champ, the other, multiple US pool world champion. Uk pool players are not "worse" than snooker players or pool players. Just a different sports. More about touch, tight positioning and finding solutions.

Ah yes, the internet. Everyone has to desperately try to start arguments and be weird about literally anything, behaving totally differently to how they do in real life to people's faces. This is why so-called "AI" like this ChatGPT nonsense is becoming aggressive, argumentative, gaslighting, lying and plain weird, because this is where it's learning all it's behaviour from.
