The shot in the card is difficult because it is a long way away and you are not allowed to use the rest in Century

Here in Pakistan, century is the most popular game.The rules are not confirmed all the time, it depend on the players, if all the players agree then the rule is implemented, eg : we friends just need to touch the red ball first to become "open"

In india the red is placed at tthe bottom cushion just behind black .One can score any no of colors till 100 but has to pot one red.If we the red is missed then it is -10 and have to attempt till potted once.

I been playing it for nearly 8 years but red ball goes to the border near black for learning borders shot

Do you have any resources on this game? I can't seem to find anything online. In particular, I'm wondering a few things. A) do you need to become open at the start of every inning? B) is it even played in innings, or do you switch between shots? C) is missing always a foul? Is there no opportunity to play safety shots without being penalised?

We've been playing it all wrong overhere. Granted the setup is just as you placed it but we pot the red ball, then go after a number ball, then after the red ball again, the red always being 1 point. A scratch is 5 points to the other players, if you pot a ball during the scratch the number is added on to the original 5 points. Also, we don't call the red but must call every number ball shot. If we played the way described here only 1 player would be playing to make 100 points. The way we play everyone get a few turns before they reach 100 points.

Hmmmmm... it seems the card is not matched to the video. The card I see states, "Why is this so difficult". But a neat game that Century is!

It’s because the shot is really far away and you are not allowed to use the rests probably should have made that more obvious some how

100 break is easy in this game... i have made it myself lots of times. but a good game for improving potting.

Do a vedio on long pots and long screw back shot plz

Oh lol, only just started watching your vids. On your table re cloth what’s the white bulk line made of? Of like where can I get it. My table fitter did my table recently but used a black marker pen, I think white looks nice
