She met the same fate as Chris Kattan....unmatched in talent but unintentional dressing to build Ferrell’s career up. Shame, as Will has implied on Conan’s “Friend” podcast he was intimidated by her initially as he stated she was to be the potential “breakout star” of season 21 when he started on SNL. Will kind of took the “Phil Hartman” job of picking up the pieces and doing in the work with different cast members, which is probably why he is a millionaire today as opposed to Cheri, who just kind of had a quirky shtick, but not much else in the eyes of the general public. Unfortunate case of circumstances.

Cheri Oteri is hilarious. She never lets up, she keeps going until her part is completed, never losing focus (I'm gettin' all these jokes in), just nailing it down. I miss her, she's always funny. The early episode she did on Curb Your Enthusiasm ,as the crazy maid , was one of the funniest things I ever saw her do, and that's saying a lot, cuz she's done so much hilarious stuff. Bob. G

She got dumped in so many ways on that show, and didnt deserve it. She was Will Ferrell's partner in crime until Will dropped her for Molly Shannon. Then they just faded her out. She's an amazing talent though, and definitely needs to be featured at the very least as a host on SNL.

This happened to me at a funeral. I couldn’t stop laughing. The funeral home had my deeply religious great grandmothers makeup looking like a hooker. The gasp my mother and grandmother made when they opened the casket had me rolling. It was sooo bad.

I think Jan Hooks was the best female SNL cast member ever, possibly even the best male or female cast member ever.

I always feel that Andy Cohen is performing a person rather than just being a person. It's almost as if he knows he's supposed to laugh and smile and does, but not because he's genuinely smiling and laughing. It's just such a striking contrast to Anderson, who is so completely real in the moment, and Oteri, who is intentionally performative and theatric.

Cheri Oteri is so under-rated & under-used. She just dives into her characters. I'd love to see her hosting SNL on the regular, or appearing more in movies or tv. Plus, a new video of Anderson giggling is just what 20/20 needed. It's so fun to see him completely lose control over *humour* when he's so buttoned-down & controlled on CNN.

Just what I needed. Seeing Cheri Oteri in-character as Barbara Walters took me back to the '90s. I wish they'd try to get Cheri on The View.

Came here after watching this year's (12/31/2020) shenanigans, which is just amazing! This needs to happen yearly!
