Why when I do your solution to the the orange light power supply with the Xbox one and 360 cord is it red?

Sorry for the late reply. But no it is not suppose to turn red, it is suppose to be orange and able to start your system up which will make the light white as the system is on. If it isn’t working it could be the cords wiring.
