Back in the day (mid to late sixties) we still had open pit garbage dumps in the U.P. of Michigan and it was sport to go rat’in with 22cal rifles. These videos bring back memories

Some large ones, no doubt. That one shot in the corner behind those large, plastic buckets at @2:30 and the one under the plastic, dark-colored pallet at about 5:40, are no joke.

I keep saying to look up as well as down. They like to use the rafters as well as the tunnels. They are on top of things as well as under them.

Are those pellets going through or just hitting them hard? Looks like you had some solid hits but they are jumping all around after being hit. I know some are reflexes but daaaaamm.

Great shooting! So satisfying, too. Seeing their legs kick gives me great joy. The only good rat is a dead rat! Edit: at 3:30 you can see how rats cannibalize one another. Anyone who says these creatures are kind, emotional, family-driven creatures is flat out delusional. They turn on one another in a heartbeat.

January, 2019 Hello from the 'States...Enjoy your video. Not a hunter, but; this would be one hunt that I would happily join in on !! Were I you, I'd insist that the Farmer / Owner, remove as much junk from the floor as possible. Stack whatever could be, etc ...That way, you eliminate all the hiding places that potentially, reduce the number of rats taken !!! Get rid of those Vermin !! My time is valuable - as much as anybody else commenting - And I'd want to make every minute result in a killed rat ( if possible ).

I am confused.. if I have the great scope.. and an ironic light source.. how are you able to see at night and video... I know I've now asked it twice.. any help/info would sincerely be appreciated. Cruel, my ass! The overwhelming majority are dying instantly. That's as humane as you can get. Leaving these vermin alone if not an option. Do you have any idea what these horrible things are capable of? They carry 32 known zoonotic diseases. 32!! And they're very good at spreading them, because they piss and shit constantly. That's true. They have no bladder, so they trickle urine behind them everywhere they go. It's how they create those "rat highways" through an area. They are disgusting, violent, filthy vermin. A clean, quick death is too good for them, frankly. But this man still grants them the mercy of an instant kill.
