In TF2 canon (based on the comics) Scout converted his life savings into Tom Jones memorabilia, which only paid off because Soldier coincidentally snapped Tom Jones' neck while antagonizing Merasmus, Soldier's former and Jones' current roommate. The blame ended up being passed to an old woman Soldier was giving a celebrity tour to. I didn't see this mentioned and felt it worth noting that this skit is, more or less, canonically plausible.

So anyway, new headcanon that Archimedes wasn't accidentally implanted in Scout, and this is actually part of the long-standing medkit disputes between terminal Medics and impatient Scouts. P.S.: I like how the title was deceptive enough to let this turn into a PSA for Scouts to, although not expressly mentioned, zoom their way over to a dispenser instead of yoinking supplies that others actually need in that moment.

This is the MOST stereotypical scout in the game (trust me, if a medic needs it, I will let him take a small first-aid kit)

Usually when I run low on ammo I think "Is the enemy team bad?" "Why am I winning?" "How am I still alive?"

My dad has bought 47 boxes of tissues and 34 bottles of soap in the past two weeks. They haven’t even been opened. Not a single one. We keep telling him to stop buying them, but he keeps doing it because he never sees the giant pile of stuff, which is all put away in the cleaning supplies closet. That he never even opens.
