I was thinking about a bolt gun to, but these AR10 parts kind of fell in my lap.

How long range is “long range” to you? It’s a little dicey when I shot subs out past 100 in 8.6 blackout. Fun tho!

I have heard of people shooting 8.6 subs effectively out to 500. I want to see it for myself though.

I have been shooting an 8" out to 500yards with 285gr subs. There is a big drop but it can be done. The rounds hit with authority too. Much louder than hitting the same steel with my 6.5CM.
