beast? i dont know man, its literally the mosin nagant, but with a nametag. also why in the hell would a german or hell even an italian be using a fucking rusky weapon? and given mosin nagant is by far the OLDEST service rifle and theres clearly better weapons to choose from. btw the sniper elite games have an ass load of weapon mistakes that grind my shit and its gonna take forever to point all of them out so im gonna give 2 examples in sniper elite v2 and zombies 1 and 2 (not sure about the trilogy) the mp40 and mp44 share the same ammo. the mp40 is 9x19mm while the mp44 is 7.92x33mm. in sniper elite 4 the mkb42 which was before mp43 and mp44 or mp45, the gun is considered a fucking smg which is NOT. its actually considered an automatic rifle and yes i know its an 'assault rifle'', but something that not many people know is that ''assault rifle'' is a sub category of automatic rifle. the other being ''battle rifle''

@@slyfoxbraixen48 Well I'm no expert on weapons. But I use the mosin nagant in elite 4 because it's got the longest zoom that I could find (after the mastery skill upgrade). At 16x I haven't found better. And for those really long shots...

@@mikefochtman7164 i never said it was a bad weapon in game. I was talking realistically as a lot of ruskies were complaining about this gun and Mikael kalashnikov knows this first hand. Then again the full powered bullet .30 russian aka 7.62x54mmr is beyond enough to incapacitate/kill someone, but its still in service unlike the murican 30-06 aka 7.62x63mm and jerry 8mm mauser aka 7.92x57mm which were replaced by the 7.62x51mm nato PS i use the ross mk4, because its required to proc the no clip drop glitch. Also to yell GOD DAMMIT ROSS everytime i miss which is a game grumps reference lol

Greta can also be a mosin nagint M44, the original that you can have is a 91/30

After completing Sniper Elite 5 on Authentic Plus solo, including the DLC I feel like theres nothing much left to it as a game. If rebellion brought out one more mission for it, I personally think it would be worth the time and money for them and us fans. Isnt the GRETA RIFLE said to thee Silent Rifle?

Last ive checked (3 years ago i used my last subsonic bullet) when you equip subsonic rounds, your weapon grows a suppressor. They probably did that to remind you "hey dumbass you have subsonics in your gun, dont forget". As for me, after getting the "silent but deadly" (7 july 2017) achievement, i only used the subsonic rounds to reload my rifle/pistol when i was using magazaine rifles/pistols like the hoarder rifle zh29 in case i needed to make a tactical reload. Saves you the issue of dropping your mag, but i found an awesome glitch which prevents me from dropping the mag entirely so fuck subsonic rounds.

Mosin is the best rifle in game

It IS a great rifle, no doubt about it, both in game and in real life no matter the variant, but i prefer using the uuh.. whats it called again? The ROSS MK3 rifle for two reasons: 1) Quite decent stats 2) So i can say "GOD DAMMIT ROSS" everytime i miss my shots with it. Its a GAME GRUMPS reference

I don't understand why we can't keep this rifle, it's only for this mission

@@ralph6968 only the zoom is higher than the original which CAN be useful on authentic plus, buuuuuuut i dont like zooming that hard and besides im staying with my ross mk4, because its the fastest bolt action i think AND because i use it to trigger the no clip drop glitch. Last time i played SE4 was months ago, because i ran out of people to boost on authentic plus

None... being above lvl51 and higher just shows how much of a masochist you are lol. Im like lvl56 myself i think and i only play the game to boost people who cannot solo authentic plus. I must have boosted like 11 people so far and i NEVER play stealth. Only loud and i take the extra mile to genocide the entire map lol Also the part where i shoot a barrel, then load and then repeat is NOT for exp purposes, but instead to show people that the greta stats are shared with mosin nagant because they are literally the same gun

It isn't the mosin if you have the mosin mastered the Greta is better

Maybe now its better, but when i made the video, the greta was a piece of shit unmastered weapon like any other weapon thats layed around on a map. Ill tell you why i think its shit. The mosin and greta have the exact starting stats and the exact mastered stats so why do i call it shit? 1) Because in order for greta to get those stats, you need to be USING it and finish the masteries with it 2) If you have the mosin as a starting weapon and you finish the masteries with greta, your mosin will be a piece of shit and greta will be ripped for the duration of the mission 3) If you finish a mastery with mosin and not greta, mosin will get the mastery stat change while greta wont 4) Replaying the mission after you "mastered" greta, youll see that your mosin is gonna be ripped while greta is gonna be a piece of shit. Im not trying to be mean, im just saying that the gun is garbage. As for me i prefer the ross mk3 just so i can say GOD DAMMIT ROSS every time i forgot how many bullets i have left in the gun and i miscalculate or when i shoot and miss a hostile thats infront of me.

So greta is a mosin nagant?

@@slyfoxbraixen48 That's disappointing. Some douche was claiming it had a built in silencer like the Delisle Carbine from the Silent Weapons Pack. I got excited because the Delisle Carbine is lacking power but its fun to use because every shot is silenced. A silenced rifle with the stats of the Mosin Nagant would have been great.

Also the british commando weapon Delisle's "weak" power is because of all the rifles/carbines in the game, it has the smallest cartridge which is 45acp.. the british made a bolt action rifle version of the thompson and made it a built in suppressor for covert and infiltration missions. Also for people who dont know the ammo types: Springfield M1903 7.62X63mm Mosin Nagant 7.62X54mmR Karabiner 98k 7.92X57mm Mannlicher M1895 8X50mmR Lee Enfield Mk4 303 aka 7.7X56mmR Winchester 22LR, 45acp and more Gewehr 43 7.92X57mm Carcano 6.5X52mm (i didnt know) Swedish Mauser 6.5X55mm (i thought it was 7.62X57mm) Ross Mk3 303 aka 7.7X56mmR M1 Garand 7.62X63mm (308 aka 7.62X51mm in Vietnam) M1A1 carbine 7.62X33mm Delisle carbine 45acp PS.. For some reason in sniper elite 2, nazi zombies 1, 2 and 3 the mp43 has the same ammo type with the mp40 which is 9X19mm and they stack and for that they also have the same maximum of 160 bullets (if i remember correctly) and in sniper elite 4 all the smgs including the mkb42 (predecessor of mp43 and 44) which is a fucking assault rifle and not an smg, stack the same ammo.. wow.. the mkb42, mp43 and mp44 use 7.92X33mm..

@@CMAG33 i dont remember where ive read that the Delisle had thompson components, but this is what ive found on the wiki which is 3 weapons bundled into 1. the colt1911, thompson and any lee enfield model. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Lisle_carbine The De Lisle was based on a Short Magazine, Lee-Enfield Mk III* converted to .45 ACP by modifying the receiver, altering the bolt/bolthead, replacing the barrel with a modified Thompson submachine gun barrel (6 grooves, RH twist), and using modified magazines from the M1911 pistol. The primary feature of the De Lisle was its extremely effective suppressor, which made it very quiet in action. So quiet that working the bolt (to chamber the next round), makes a louder noise than firing a cartridge.[11] The .45 ACP cartridge was selected as its muzzle velocity is subsonic for typical barrel lengths; consequently it would both retain its full lethality and not require custom-loaded ammunition to use with a suppressor. Most rifle rounds are supersonic, where the bullet generates a "sonic boom" like any other object traveling at supersonic velocities, making them unsuitable for covert purposes. The Thompson gun barrel was ported (i.e. drilled with holes) to provide a controlled release of high pressure gas into the suppressor that surrounds it before the bullet leaves the barrel. The suppressor, 2 inches (5.1 cm) in diameter, went all the way from the back of the barrel to well beyond the muzzle, making up half the overall length of the weapon. The suppressor provided a very large volume to contain the gases produced by firing; this was one of the keys to its effectiveness. The Lee-Enfield bolt was shortened to feed the .45 ACP rounds; the Lee-Enfield's magazine set-up was replaced with a new assembly that held a modified M1911 magazine. The bolt operation offered an advantage in that the shooter could refrain from chambering the next round if absolute silence was required after firing; a semi-automatic weapon would not have offered this option as the cycling of the bolt coupled with rearward escaping propellant gas and the clink of the empty case against any hard surface would produce a noise with each shot. While the carbine was silent, it was not very accurate.
