I'm from Edmonton and SNFU was one our hometown bands. I saw them go from playing shows to less than 50 people to over 500 within a few years. Chi's energy was amazing but man the Belke brothers could rip. Evan Jones the original drummer for SNFu passed away last year, he will be missed. There is a giant mural of Chi on the side of a building in Edmonton now and there is an arts scholarship in his name at his high school. Chi may be gone but he will not be forgotten.

This year there will also be a comic book featuring stories based off of 4 SNFU songs but I think there will be more ...kids at Vic are promoting shows under the name project 23... I hope I can help them get more exposure but they're doing awesome all ages gigs

I attended their gigs in Edmonton as well around 87-88 or so. Was so much fun. Crazy energy and the best sounding punk rock I had heard. I remember the one gif they threw out a bunch of sex toys to the audience. I jumped off that stage many times. Miss those crazy days.

Chi was a GOD live and was very sweet. RIP Chi. Loved doing show's with him every time

He was legend. I wrote him c/o BYO Records when I was 14 and he replied with a full-length letter like we were best friends. Dude was all heart.

Without a doubt one of the best if not the best skate punk bands ever. Great homage and cover with great musicians! RIP Mr. Chi Pig.

Great tribute! A reminder of Chi’s brilliance. And the brilliance of the Belke Brothers as guitarists and composers. Wild to think they recorded this song in 1986, so ahead of it’s time, IMO.

Please don't stop making these videos.

There are a few songs that they could cover that might put them above this one for me, but only a few.

2:44 I still have that t-shirt... it's 34 years old! This was the first punk album I bought and SNFU was my first punk show. All Ages Show on a Sunday afternoon. Saw them many more times after that over the years and across the country. #RIPChiPig

SNFU was one of the most prolific punk bands! So good the lyrics were always so heartfelt the way chi wrote em! Russ absolutely killed the vocals on this! He is one of my favorite vocalists. Killer all the way around!

@@bigfoot6223 Evan C Jones was the original drummer in the band and played on the first album (he was probably around for some of the songs on the second album, but Jon Card played on it- this song is from the second album). He died this week.

Oh yeah! Two of the best and most unique guitarists to grace the genre, IMO. Plus they have the sibling/twins thing going, they complimented each other extremely well!

SNFU. Simply The Best Skate/Punk Band Ever. This cover is great! RIP Chi Pig you are sorely missed. Met him a few times when we put on shows in Montreal. One of the nicest guys to ever walk this earth.

This is absolutely fucking killer.....this channel is at its best when it takes an old ass song and filters it through this modern production, also helps to have these legendary musicians...you should do a pinhead gunpowder song

Killer to see you folks do this cover ...... and a day after the passing of SNFU's original drummer Evan C Jones. Rest in Power Evan and Ken...... my brothers . I love you and miss you dearly .

My favorite SNFU song. My first punk show was SNFU on tour for this album (if you swear). They were opening for Toxic Reasons, but they put on such an amazing show.

Nolan and Rankin are my two favorite vocalists paying tribute to another fave. What's even cooler to me, is that Al, and Brownsound are local buddies of mine (So is Val Knox in another vid of yours)

Great cover of a great song for a man larger than life and not meant to grace us with his presence for very long

I sent the link to He's Not Getting Older He's Getting Bitter to a friend not 2 hours ago. Teared up over Ken. Now I'm doing it again. I passed by the old SNFU Shed on 100 ave here in Edmonton a few weeks back, remembering when Muc and Bunt showed me the pile of papers of the lyrics Ken had written for this album. Best record release party I ever went to.

Hits all too close to home... Awesome rendition of an already great song, not an easy accomplishment but you all nailed it. Thanks....
