This game received a lot of bad reviews at the time. I think it was mainly for being too short. However, aesthetically speaking, it oozed quality and was highly enjoyable to play.

Thank you!!! The other day for a good 45 minutes all I could think about was trying to remember this game. All I could picture was bouncing red ball with a teeter totter type thing and it being in a haunted house themed level. It bothered me so much i pulled up a list on wikipedia of all the SNES games and went through and checked each one who's name stuck out. And now finally I have the answer to what I was thinking about.

Damn, Konami used to be awesome with making games. Like Capcom, not only did they treat their own titles with passion, whatever licensed titles they made games of, they really poured their heart and soul into them. Top notch quality stuff! The TMNT arcade games, this, Animaniacs, like Capcom's Duck Tales, Little Nemo, Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers, pure cream of the crop! What the hell HAPPENED to them? Only a shell of their former glory, even with their few main franchises, they lost that gold.

I just watched a bit of a longplay of the Genesis game and had to stop after the first boss. SNES is leagues better in just about every category; smooth sprite animations, excellent sound fx and music with just the right amount of OOMPH to it, well-designed levels with good length, engaging boss battles that required outside-the-box thinking to win, and fun bonus games that were chosen Wheel of Fortune-style. I'd pick this one over Genesis any day.

@WoozleWuzzle666 I'm not Sega fanboy. I think Flintstones&Prince of Persia for SNES were better than Genesis' version. About this game: it has less levels, there aren't special attacks, Genesis version has a couple of really cool music and I prefer genesis' bonuses. This game has better graphics, you can accelerate and passwords are simpler to remember. That's why I prefer Genesis' one and not just because I probably love Sega more (this is absolutely incorrect).

Well, what have we here?! A nice looking and playing kids' game that looks like a charm, compared to things that Acclaim or LJN would come up with. You see, If Konami USA allowed WayForward Technologies to work with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on an HD remastered version of this classic licensed 16-bit game, following the success of its Disney-licensed hit "DuckTales: Remastered," those who were fans of the show in childhood would really be all over the resulting product, and kids for whom the game was purchased would get an ideal introduction to an IP from a bygone generation that has otherwise become irrelevant. Now I give you my idea for what would be the 21st-century remake of this game - "Tiny Toon Adventures Remastered: Buster Busts Loose Again!" First and foremost, the game's graphics and audio would be vastly enhanced for the new era's respective HD and surround technologies. For the remastered graphics, WayForward's graphic designers would bring on board three key members of the original animated series' art team to supervise and support them. The game's script would also undergo tons of revisions and expansions (including expanding the roles of those characters that only briefly appeared in the original game, and incorporating various characters that don't appear in the game at all). Also, a number of new features and levels would be added to the game to keep it from feeling too short. As for the original game's passwords, they would be eliminated in favor of a modern save system, with three available files. The new script would come with full voice acting. Many of the original cartoon's voice cast would be returned to their roles: Charlie Adler (Buster Bunny), Tress MacNeille (Babs Bunny), Danny Cooksey (Montana Max), Maurice LaMarche (Dizzy Devil), Gail Matthius (Shirley the Loon), Candi Milo (Sweetie Pie), Rob Paulsen (Arnold the Pitbull/Fowlmouth/Concord Condor), Kath Soucie (Fifi La Fume/Li'l Sneezer), Cree Summer (Elmyra Duff/Mary Melody), Frank Welker (Furrball/Gogo Dodo), and Jeff Bergman (Looney Tunes characters appearing as teachers). Further, Warner Bros. would recast roles whose original actors have died: Plucky Duck (originally played by Joe Alaskey) to Matt Taylor, Hamton J. Pig (Don Messick) to Scott Innes, and Gotcha Grabmore (Joan Gerber) to Laraine Newman. Many of the revisions to the script would be to accommodate the return of the surviving "Tiny Toons" voice actors. See reply for an explanation of the remastered edition's layout.

The remastered edition's layout - 1st half: When the player boots up a new save file, the intro appears as an HD remake of the original TV show's intro, with sing-along lyrics at the bottom of the screen. The game proper begins with the first episode, "Mayhem at the Looniversity." Buster and Babs walk out onto the area in front of Acme Looniversity, introduce themselves, and welcome the player to the "Tiny Toons" world with a brief and somewhat humorous monologue. Then Buster looks at his watch and realizes they're going to be late for class, then the player takes control of Buster for the first time as he, along with Babs, Plucky, and Hamton, head for the classroom. This walk to class serves as a tutorial for the player to familiarize them with how to control Buster. The young quartet reach their classroom with all their fellow toonsters waiting for them, and take their seats at the front row of the class. As the clock strikes and Gogo cuckoos, Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck come in and begin to teach the toons, but after a few minutes, class is disrupted by Dizzy who whirls out of the room and into the school hallways. To make matters worse, Elmer Fudd barges in and alerts everybody that wild animals have escaped into the school and are trying to attack it. Buster is sent out of the classroom to investigate the commotion, and in doing so, he ends up scuffling with Arnold and other dangerous critters. Hamton, meanwhile, has been excused to go to the restroom, and is likewise distracted by noises coming from the kitchen, so when Buster approaches him, he deduces that Dizzy is wrecking the kitchen and devouring the food there. So Buster must battle the young Tasmanian devil and use food from the kitchen to put him to sleep. Once the battle is done, the toons can resume their class. The "wraparound" segment, as in the original game, is a reference to "Wheel of Fortune," with the set design now based on that show's current appearance. Buster and Babs as the hosts are now dressed in reference to Pat Sajak and Vanna White, Buster wearing a business suit with the jacket colored red like his standard shirt, and Babs wearing a short purple dress with a blond wig; Babs touches screens on a board to reveal minigame names when they are announced; and when the segment is first shown, the name "Wheel o' Fun Games" is even chanted by an offscreen audience, just like the show. In addition to the five minigames featured in the original, two additional ones are added: "Elmyra's Animal Mania," where the player controls the animal-loving numbskull and she must catch as many generic dogs and cats as possible within the set time limit, with a certain number of animals awarding extra lives; and "Buster's Paper Panic," which is inspired by the "Paper Trained" segment of "Life in the '90s" with Buster going on a paper route where he must deliver newspapers to houses to earn the player extra lives; in doing so, he must avoid being sabotaged by Montana Max. The next episode, titled "Wackiness in the Wild West," has Buster revisiting the town of Prairie Junction, from "High Toon," this time accompanied by Plucky and having to save the place from Montana Max - all three dressed as cowboys, the former two's outfits coming directly from the original episode while Max's is loosely inspired by Yosemite Sam, his mentor. Along the way to Max's hideout, Buster must fight the Coyote Kid and his outlaws from the original episode. Then after catching Max red-sleeved while he barges into the inn and steals valuable items, Buster follows the bratty bandit on board the train, where he must face goons like Arnold and dash through a mountain à la Sonic the Hedgehog, before confronting Max himself on the engine, which he stops promptly after his battle. Buster escapes with the defeated Max on a railroad cart, sending the villain falling down into a gorge. This scene keeps the "Back to the Future" references in the train engine's coloration and the 88-mile-per-hour maximum speed of the railroad cart, while adding another reference in some trucks being signed with "DE ROLLIN'," a parody of "DeLorean." In the next episode, titled "Plucky's Plights," Buster is briefly out of the picture, having taken a break at home to study for a test. Plucky is the player-character during this time. Max is threatening to destroy his house and build a coal factory in its place (with the smoke having potential to pollute the air in Acme Acres), and Plucky must stop his efforts, and also deals with Gotcha Grabmore who is holding Shirley prisoner and wants to turn her feathers into filling for her own bed. During this quest, Plucky briefly uses his "Toxic Revenger" persona when granted temporary invincibility. In the next episode, "Scary Times at Spook Mansion," Buster has finished another day of studies at Acme Loo and decides to head back to his burrow, when suddenly it begins to rain. He also finds an uncanny old mansion in the middle of Acme Forest and decides to visit it in order to take refuge from the rainstorm; Babs comes in dressed as a ghost to scare him, but then takes off her disguise causing him to recover. Buster then enters Spook Mansion, confronting all the horrors that dwell there. Eventually, Buster finds Babs in the mansion, who under the assumption that no one lived there, went into the basement with the other girls and played a bit before her friends, along with the monster they were playing with, were captured by Dr. Gene Splicer. Buster must engage in battle with Splicer's monster Melvin to bring him back to his senses, then Splicer himself to rescue the other girls from Splicer before he can use his mutation experiment procedures to merge them all together.

The remastered edition's layout - 2nd half: After the Spook Mansion episode, you next go through "Cat vs. Bird," where you play as Furrball who must wander an alley in Acme Acres to catch Sweetie and Li'l Sneezer, while having to avoid the latter's powerful sneezes. The next episode, "The New Acme Bowl," has Buster heading to Acme Stadium with Babs, who has been given permission to join the football team with Buster and his friends. Furrball leaves the football team and joins Fifi and Shirley as a cheerleader. With Mary Melody as sportscaster, Buster, Babs, Plucky, Hamton, and Dizzy come out to play for Acme Looniversity, in a football match against Perfecto Prep. The game is now played to five rounds, and as Buster, you now have to score a touchdown in each before the game is over. If you are successful, the game turns out to be Acme Loo's first victorious football game this season. Next up is "Hassled Hare," a throwback to "Hare Today, Gone Tomorrow." Buster is kidnapped by Elmyra and Babs must travel through her house to save him, accompanied by Fifi and Shirley, while freeing other animals who have also been captured and imprisoned by Elmyra, and having to steer clear of her attempts at torturing the girls themselves. After defeating Elmyra in battle, she poses as a dog catcher, trapping her in a net before rescuing Buster and making an escape. The next episode is "Screwy Space Opera," which, like the final stage of the original game, is a parody of "Star Wars." Buster becomes a "knight of honor," now parodying Luke Skywalker; and must fight the armies of Duck Vader, accompanied by Princess Babs (a parody of Leia, no longer the damsel-in-distress as she was originally) to save the planet Narealda (an anagram of Alderaan) from the evil empire. After Buster defeats Duck Vader in battle, he is revealed to be a costumed Plucky, as in the original game. The next episode, "Waikiki Sock-iki," centers around Buster, Babs, and the gang playing a soccer match in Hawaii. Then comes "Treasure in the Sky," where Buster must retrieve an important possession of Calamity Coyote's which he has somehow hidden in a building situated in the sky. He must go to Acme Plaza and push a button on a capsule, revealing a balloon bearing Calamity's image, and then use that to make his ascent. Along the way, he meets Hamton who is piloting an airplane, and seeks help from him. Buster uses Hamton's plane, some normal and hot-air balloons, a Woodyear Blimp, and Concord Condor to reach Calamity's treasure, which he accesses via a pinball-type course. When at last he finds the treasure, it's revealed to be one of Calamity's books, which contains the script for a future episode; then Buster finds out the building is collapsing, escapes it, falls down and is rescued by Hamton, and returns to ground level to give Calamity's book back to him. After that, it's time for "Trouble in Wackyland," where Buster and Babs must work to save the surreal realm from circus owner Silas Wonder, who has kidnapped Gogo and the land's other natives and is dumping trash into the territory. The rabbits go through an auto-scrolling stage as they make efforts to clean up and restore Wackyland and liberate the population. The last episode of the game is "The Brave Little Rabbit," where after having lost an animation festival at Acme Loo to Buster, Max kidnaps Babs and takes her away. Buster must storm his nemesis' mansion, which becomes a platform stage in the vein of "Super Mario," and eludes Max's many traps and security guards before confronting the brat himself in a long battle. When Buster reclaims the key to Babs' cage and releases her, he then gives her a flower he had picked on the way to the mansion to show his love for her. Just then, the mansion collapses and Buster and Babs must escape it together. The show's villains are arrested for their evil conduct (with Max swearing revenge on Buster as they are driven away to prison), and Buster and Babs (who have decided to take the whole gang out to celebrate with a special meal) give a closing monologue, thank the viewer for playing, and say goodbye. The closing credits are now set to the show's trademark closing rings. Depending on the difficulty level you're playing, the end tag is either Plucky's "Parting is such sweet sorrow," Buster's "And that's a wrap!" or a new end tag where Babs remarks, "I just couldn't help myself."

How could Konami allow Warner Bros to work with Wayforward? You have things just a little backwards as the characters are WB owned, so Konami would have to license the characters, then get Wayforward to do the game. It's not as simple as you make it sound.
