I remember as a kid how I loved at the end of the hard mode you get to see all the Turtles getting beaten up by the enemies. That always cracks me up.

This game still looks awesome today hasnt aged a bit

I used to play this in 1992 with my cousins and pals over and over again without getting bored. Brings back those old childhood memories for sure! And a shiver through the body!

This was a perfect port from Arcade to Super Nintendo and in some ways I felt the Snes version was superior than it's arcade counterpart .

I'm with you there. I remember NEVER being able to beat the arcade version and being SO happy when the SNES version came out. Finally being able to beat this game. Yeah.

The reason of why the arcade is so hard is because it plays like shit. The SNES version has better combat, but it's still an average game.

I remember I had a SNES gaming magazine that reviewed this TMNT game before it came out, they were comparing it to the arcade and I couldn't believe how good it looked I waited day and night for it's release, it was well worth it's wait, they don't make games like this anymore. long live arcade style pixel drawn games, latest gen consoles can go suck it. I am glad I have collected consoles like NES, SNES and more... I miss the 80's and 90's

Grew up watching my cousin dominate TMNT 3 The Arcade Game and it was a blast being his side kick to team up. When TMNT 4 arrived for the SNES it was epic. I mastered and loved this game as a kid lol

In the top ten SNES games. The best TMNT game ever! Better than the arcade version.

This game takes me way back it was one of my favorites as a kid thanks for uploading this!!!

I grew up with the Turtles, and this was one of my favorite video games of all time. It would be the coolest thing, if they made this into a movie or miniseries. Being as with the CGI we have today, you could create characters like BeBop and Rocksteady, Krang,and My personal favorite-Leatherhead. You could also do heroes like Usagi Yojimbo.

Damn. You guys were kicking so much ass. Awesome playthrough Monty Mole & Stanley White.

0:44 - To be fair, I usually change the controls so the Special Attack is on X instead of B,Y. It prevents accidental misfires (and the resulting health loss). This is especially true in this game, since the Special Attack isn't really that useful compared to TMNT the Manhattan Project. Grab, Down+Y is way better for clearing screens, and doesn't cost health.

this game is the G.O.A.T greatest of all turtles. Made way ahead of it's time, the graphics still look good today, pure nostalgia on this playthrough

Everything about this game is encoded into my DNA. Forever holds a special place.

I remember loving the fact you could do the 3D throwing them at the screen it never ever stops being the most satisfying thing hearing the sound effect when you hear them fly at your screen 💌

This was the best TMNT game ever! Best played with a friend! There was no smartphones and Netplay in 1992 (I was 6) Only problem was the game was too short. Though I always liked the other game references that I thought this game had: 1. The Wrecking balls in stage 1 were like Thwomps in Mario Kart, Even Krang in Stage 9 did this! 2. The Stone Warriors were like the Chargin' Chucks from Super Mario World! 3. Slash acted like Blanka from Street Fighter II! 4. Super Shredder also did a move like Ken and Ryu from Street Fighter II, that Hadouken Shrinker Beam! 5. The white Foot Soldiers reminded me of Skull Man from Mega Man 4! Those were the times!

This was my 9th bday present, I was absolutely happy. Still got it and playing sometimes.

I only recently realized Turtles in Time and the Hyperstone Heist on Genesis are very similar. Playing style, graphic design and those opening cut-scenes are practically identical.
