@@RockStar_Love he isn't ashamed of his wife. Didnt you see how the employee(Mr. Smith) reacted when kitty came? He even removed his hand from her showed no interest at all to the girl. everyone threw a disgustful eye on the boss for his racist attitude even the actress he hired too. She didn't even allow him to touch her. On the other hand the employee took his hands off from the actress. Did you notice that? He never cheated his wife. But yeah since the promotion was stranded because of his boss racist attitude he was obliged to do so. Alternatively he could have left the job rather than working for a racist employer to get a promotion. He was remorseful for that. That doesn't mean he stopped loving his wife even she was black. Love knows only the bonding between feelings. It has no barrier regardless of skin color complexion etc

The fact that the husband stood up for his wife in the end and apologized to her, not caring who heard him or saw him, proved how sorry he was. It takes a lot for someone to put their pride aside for a moment to be humble and apologetic of something they did wrong. I'm not saying to get rid of your pride, but definitely temper it with humbleness and truth. Don't become arrogant, because that is when your pride will become your downfall.

@masterb5683 - Agreed. Kateryna Bratchyna is a cracking actress! She was great in the one where Arthur Ignatenko (who played Michael Smith in this one) played a secretly racist boss who only hired a black man to fill a quota. She played an employee called Molly who was so hilariously indifferent to everything it was untrue. A bit like Amanda in Ugly Betty years ago. She was only in the episode for a short time, but she stole it. I was creasing. 🤣
