Sneaking into Impressive Abandoned Places in Hungary (I GOT CAUGHT!)

Today's video is very different to what I generally publish. As someone who has always been interested in the least visited parts of each country and hidden gems in general, abandoned places fall perfectly into sites that I love including in my itinerary, especially when there is so much history surrounding them.
So on today's video you will find some of the most sinister and impressive abandoned places in Hungary that I got the chance to visit on my 7 day trip to this amazing country.
Come along on this spooky, interesting adventure (where I got caught) and please keep in mind that just like I refrained from sharing the locations (even if they are well known amongst Hungarians), I would still like to keep these as hidden as possible, so I will delete comments that contain location information about the places mentioned on this video.
Hope you guys enjoy this type of video too, and do let me know if you would like to see more of these type of videos, whether on this channel or on a separate channel!

    I just came across your videos about Hungary. I was very impressed with the quality of the video. Very rare to see something that good. So i kept watching, also this video. To answer your question: i think its a good idea to do this kind of videos on a seperate channel, as its for a very different audience. However if somebody likes both, like me, i would just subscribe to both channels. And from time to time, where it fits, you can just cross link the content between the channels.

    Thank you for your input! I have been struggling in the last few months to post more regularly for a few different reasons, so for now at least will keep everything under one channel as I wouldn't have time for both. Maybe one day I will separate it, but for now it doesn't make sense to create both. Really appreciate your words and you taking the take to watch the videos and leaving feedback! Wishing you a wonderful rest of the week :)

    Watching your first video about Hungary reminded me of something a was thinking about recently. It's, how many people tend to always go for the "tourist" sites in any given country they visit and how that experience projects a false image about the country as a whole as well as the people. Because of the time we live in information gets everywhere in mere minutes and this affected the "basic" tourist experience in many countries. What I'm seeing for a while now is that tourist sites are becoming more and more similar. Basically if you go to any western or west similar country it's all the same with some different textures. And for me, this became such a negative thing, because anytime I visit another country I'm already bored with the tourist sites (similar ones that are in the video as well) because I already saw them in other countries or just in movies and the internet. And for me that's kind of enough. Cuz with things like buildings, galleries, or "The" Nightclubs of the town I saw them all and now what to expect cuz I've been to many countries in Europe and other continents as well. And because of these reasons I tried to find a new aspect in traveling and this is what I aspire others to do as well. Leave the typical tourist places and try to find the most "real" situations as possible. Now when I'm traveling I don't look for the best hotels, or sights to see. I'm looking for interesting looking people, people who I think can show me what it feels like to live in 'said country and give me an authentic feeling of it. I try to stay with other people for accommodation and not book a hotel or something. I ignore the statues and grand discos, instead I ask my newfound friends to show me around, go to some real hidden places that are mostly (or only) visited by the people who live there. And these experiences were the best things that happened to me while visiting another country. And because of that I think the best way to get the realest picture of another country is to become one with the people. There are very few places in the world which are as shiny and beautiful as they try to sell it to you. I want the Dirt, the realest deal a foreigner can find without actually moving there. And as I said, that's what I aspire people to do as well. Ditch everything the internet tells you to do, Find yourself a temporarily place to stay for your first or second day, and just hit the city and talk to people who seem interesting to you and follow them around, speak to them, make friends and they will guide you to places that you never thought are real. And a good tip, always go for people who belong to a certain sub-culture or style because these are the guys and galls who can show you some real interesting places. Anyway thanks if anyone read my little "article" (XD) here and tell my what are your thoughts as well

  • @danielazziptrips

    @danielazziptrips

    2 жыл бұрын

    Ahahahh thank you for watching and writing your "article" ehehehe. I totally agree with your point although I do both 🤣 First of all, I have to visit the typical places because of what I do, but also because I want to. That being said, I am always more excited to explore places that are less known. I still get enthusiastic over locations that I have seen with similar features elsewhere, but I can totally see what you mean when you say that everything looks the same. And as for best travel experiences, definitely! Most of the time, the people make a great trip as opposed to the place itself. I used to do Counchsurfing although I haven't done it in 3 years now and that was exactly what I liked the most - the interaction with others, who would show me what it is like to live in their country and who would tell me about places I wouldn't know otherwise ☺️ hope you stay well and keep traveling the way you do! You're helping to avoid mass tourism and you're creating real and raw memories which you will remember and cherish for the rest of your life 🥰
