I’m an OG OG since 88 😂 an to tell you the truth we never really had to jump threw theses hoops back in the day.🤷‍♂️ Most people and parents didn’t have the $$ so they were available 🤷‍♂️. What drives me crazy is these stores strategically placing these super limited sneakers 👟 in the area’s with the highest resellers 🤦‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️🫡👍🏼✌🏼

@@wildboy6718 Have you ever seen Footlocker’s FLX map for stores holding reservations ? 🤔 I’m in the tri state area NY ,NJ , CT we have over 120 Footlockes spread out between all 3 states. Using Manhattan Footlocker Times Square store for a GR release you have stores in a hundred and 20 miles in circumference to put reservation in. That last Kobe’s release out of a 120 FOOTLOCKER’s in the tri state area there was 12 stores Total 😳😳😳 and all of them with in a 15 mile radius of the Time square Footlocker 🤨 I’m sorry but the majority of all the releases this year are strategically placed for resellers to have the greatest advantage. Same goes for Champs, JD , FL , Snipes all of them. 🤷‍♂️ And that’s not hyperbole that’s a FACT These store are fully aware of how to create HYPE. 🤷‍♂️✌🏼

You should pursue acting, better than quite a few out there now 😂 I never buy sneakers in store unless I'm downtown and go to Niketown in Portland but rare or if I win a raffle on SNKRS to pick up at Nike. I've been buying J's since 86 and I do remember those days, not really much hype, no lines, walk in and buy a pair or 2 if you could afford it at $100 a pop. I wanted a pair and my Mom said "if you want them Jordan's you better get a job!" So I did! Wish I had them pairs now!

2010 was running in the mall soon as it opened and had to stand in front of champs or finish line. First come first serve. Remember doing that for my playoff 13s and Metalic 5s.

Wrong. Stores are in business to make money. Not to be everyone's mom

So, in my opinion, if a store destroys the box, the shoes should be discounted. But also, in what world do they think that's going to fight the resale market? Yes, people like me prefer to have the box, but usually just for storage purposes; it's rare that I display a box... only example I have right now is the box from my 2016 Space Jam 11s.
