Love how it has been looking so far, and many of the features I have been longing for since I have been using penpot, seems to have been implemented. Great Work everyone over at penpot and the open source community ❤

This project is evolving very fast! Congrats. Any news about the Penpot desktop app? Question, the app will run locally (without a Penpot account/internet access)? Like a Affinity Designer or the old Adobe stuff. For low income people who don't need collaborative work and want a free UI design tool will be great!

Great ! But I don't understand why the color/Typo tool bar is not next to the main tool bar at the top ? Even if it remains floating next to it... I just don't get it.

1:33 Will this make it difficult to access the ruler? It seems to me that it would be better if this panel was above the ruler. We'll see in practice.

Nice work. Making Figma look like a bunch of clowns.

The big mistake that I see is the lack of contrast. All you have is light-gray on white. It would look a lot more beautiful and help the contrast if you would add borders or shadows. Webflows latest redesign is a good example of how this can be done right. This isn't only just about aesthetic but also about people with poor eyesight.

Looks great. I am continually astonished at how good penpot is. UX tools have been lacking for so long.
