This is usually when a business cuts budgets and has sales to make up the loss since they have spent more than their sales have matched up to. Business finances are also separate from personal finances when you're at that level. And consider the fact that many graphic designers and creative directors have employees or are freelancing for multiple businesses simultaneously - she doesn't need to be in person day in and day out to get a new merch or packaging design approved or created. They have enough money to get a staff member or two to help calm down the chaos. Kyle working 18hr days is showing inefficiency, not passion.

I guess i dont understand all the vitriol towards Amanda. She kept them afloat financially while he was starting this business. She came up with designs. He belittles her, calls her lazy and feels like he doesn't trust her to have kids right now. He doesn't appreciate what she does to help him. Yet he is over 40, drinks all the time, slurred speach drunk, stays out all night and she's the immature one?!? How on earth can he be surprised she wants to do something for herself especially when she is saying she will still be there for his company. Why wouldn't he want her to bring more money to the household. I use to think she was being very mean to him at the beginning of the season, but now i totally see why. Im hoping they get marriage counseling and work it out, but i gotta be honest and say i feel like they don't appear very compatible. He has already cheated....im surprised she forgave that and married him. I know that's forever on her mind when he stays out late. And since they are not getting along, I bet it wouldn't take much for him to do it again.

Kyle's meltdown is out of line. She's the creative mind behind the brand so they can outsource or make more systems to be more efficient to allow her to do her own thing on the side. Why is he the only one allowed to go after his dreams? I also loathe him comparing her dream to his wanting to be a DJ. Your dream was to make a beverage brand, you're doing that - if it was to be a DJ you should have done so instead of starting a brand, her dream is a swim brand, let her do that and hire someone else to either help her or yourself to make the business more efficient.

Designing swimwear can be time consuming, but it can also be a side job just how many graphic designers have full time day jobs and freelance to build their portfolios on the side. The company is also big enough to hire a graphic designer and allow Amanda to approve and guide them instead of doing everything herself which would free up time and improve efficiency.

@@rrdcreates well Amanda made that decision to leave her job. They should’ve been hired a different graphic designer. Also the way Amanda was speaking , she wants Kyle to help her start the line and that’s a lot to ask someone to support their own business that’s in the red while also helping you start your business. If anything, she should start her own business and allow Kyle to focus on LoverBoy while he hires a new graphic designer so she can focus on her dreams. The business is obviously hurting their marriage so they need to remove it and focus on their individual career passions.

I used to be on Kyle's side, but now I have negative feelings towards him. In the recent episodes, he manipulated Amanda by prioritizing his career over hers, which made her feel insignificant and devalued her beliefs. Amanda made sacrifices for his career, and his lack of consideration for her makes me suspect he might be a covert narcissist. It's concerning how Danielle reinforces his behavior by whispering in his ear about how great he is and how terrible Amanda is, effectively insinuating that Amanda is emasculating him. However, she is wrong; Amanda is a great wife. "Pick me, Carl" also attempted to undermine their marriage despite his relationship with Lindsay being over. Danielle needs to refrain from spreading false stories about Amanda when she knows they're untrue.

I am team Amanda 100 percent. Kyle behaves like a child and is, IMO, lucky that Amanda stuck around and married him. In the most recent episode, as Kyle is walking down the stairs, he says 'I need to be fed.' Dude...make yourself something to eat and feed yourself. Or, maybe you would prefer that Amanda get you a highchair and bib and then spoon feed you, all the while ensuring your company stays successful. My point: Amanda is NOT your mommy. Same with Carl who wants Lindsay to be 'soft.' Does he not know her? I have seen her behaviors long enough to realize that 'soft' is not a word anyone would use to describe Lindsay, and that is ok. How can she be 'soft' when she is forced to go into the world and be the sole financial provider because Carl cannot 'find himself' and has not worked for a year. Then, he takes off, while having a big baby tantrum..leaving her with her luggage... without so much as a goodbye. It was already bad enough he did not offer to carry her luggage. My advice to Carl: Stop running to your mommy every time you and Lindsay disagree and sharing every detail of your relationship with anyone who will agree with your point of view. Most importantly...get a JOB ...ANY job. To Kyle: Be a man, and also, get a haircut. It's no longer cute. To both of them, esp Kyle: Grow up and PLEASE stop crying so much. Here is my oversimplified theory of this HUGE problem: women are preventing their sons from becoming strong minded, truly confident men when they constantly treat them as if they are shining stars who can do no wrong. Please teach them some basic life skills. If they are not going to be the sole financial providers, then they need to know how to do things around the house (aside from playing video games.) I recall when my mom was alive, she frequently said that 'men are just children who get bigger.' I did not believe it at the time but, having lived my life, I now see that she apparently hit the nail right on the head with this statement. I think the Women's Lib movement was started by men. Why? Because, the end result was that, in addition to taking care of the home and the children and the spouse (and catering to the part of their body they have little control over), women got to to go work outside the home too! However, there was no adjustment made on the homefront for this critical change. As a result, women are quite literally killing themselves trying to accomplish ALL things, while having to set their needs and wants aside (because, after all, there are only so many hours in a given day.) I am sure there are good, solid and responsible men (who are not functioning solely as sperm donors who move in with you) out there somewhere. I just have not come across any (either personally or by proxy.) The last generation of men that I can think of who, for the most part, stepped up and into their 'role' was during WWII (not by going to war but rather by their content of their character and the resulting behaviors such as courting women, working and not being crybabies.) P.s. It really os ok to cry sometimes...just not EVERY time something does not go your way...this goes for women too.

People run businesses everyday - there are peaks and valleys. He can hire help for himself or outsource graphic design work for half Amanda's rate and have her approve on decisions or otherwise guide the team. If he's working 18hrs a day, he doesn't know how to properly delegate. That is one of the biggest pitfalls to being an entrepreneur. They don't need a new flavor each week, they just need to double down on popular flavors, have new merch each time bravo drops something clever, and improve on what works. This all can be done with Amanda working on the side - freelance designers work for 3 to 5 businesses on retainer at a time.

Why is she being accused of selfishness? She sacrificed her job, money, and time to support his career and passion. All she wants is to start her own apparel company, and she needs his support. It's unjust to label her as selfish when she's always been there for him. And why is Kyle starting another business, "DJing," instead of supporting his wife after all the help she's given him?

Amanda DIDN'T WANT TO SIGN A PRE-NUP before the wedding. She said: «I WON'T SIGN A PRE-NUP because if Kyle divorces me, I'LL GET HALF OF HIS COMPANY ALONG WITH THE MONEY». Those who haven't seen it can go and watch it in the sixth season of Summer house. Amanda MARRIED KYLE NOT FOR LOVE, BUT FOR MONEY! Amanda doesn't help Kyle with the business, even though she knows they have debts. And at the most difficult time, when Kyle asks Amanda for help and to be more involved in «Loverboy», she tells him that she wants to do something for herself (swimwear). Amanda is so SELFISH. Does Amanda realize that she lives on the money that Kyle earns by running "Loverboy" that needs help getting rid of debts? If "Loverboy" goes bankrupt, Amanda will go bankrupt too. With what money does Amanda want to start her own business selling fashionable swimwear? They both live on the profits from "Loverboy". If "Loverboy" goes broke, her dream of creating swimwear collections will not come true! Interestingly, Amanda doesn't want to work for "Loverboy", but wants to get half of the company along with the money if she and Kyle get divorced. It turns out that Amanda IS WAITING FOR KYLE TO GET RICH BY HIS OWN EFFORTS and "Loverboy" to begin to prosper, in order to divorce Kyle at that very moment. Amanda wants to get half of "Loverboy" along with the money WITHOUT INVESTING HER OWN EFFORTS in the prosperity of "Loverboy". SIGN A PRE-NUP AMANDA and then do whatever you want. I can see how treacherous you are Amanda. Amanda behaves as if Kyle is obliged to provide her with everything she wants. In my opinion, she doesn't love him and married him only for money. Amanda constantly speaks disparagingly to him in front of other people and behind his back. She should be ashamed. And she wonders why he is in no hurry to buy a house in the suburbs? Kyle and Amanda seem to be in a toxic co-dependent dynamic. Amanda has poor boundaries and low self-esteem and chose a partner as a project, and expresses her frustration through passive aggressive behavior. Kyle is immature, impulsive, and combative and defensive. They are highly incompatible but probably ran with their physical compatibility and party days into trying to make a marriage work. Unless they get some serious counseling and change, I don't see them lasting more than a handful of more years.

Danielle is like Scheana from Vanderpump Rules … it’s almost like they crave and seek validation from men, basically a “pick me” …

Amanda will ruin her marriage listening to these girls. Unless you are married, you have no idea what married life is like. Every decision you make, needs to be about the collective team, and yes you still need to find fulfilment on your own, but at the end of the day, Kyle is building this lover boy business for you and his future children. Does she not keep going on about living this quiet life with kids in the countryside, well that costs money! It makes no sense to now start a business venture that will take away money and attention, from their main source of income (Loverboy).

I couldn’t have said it better myself. She’s allowing her insecurities to guide her decisions. Your husband told you that Lover Boy is losing money meanwhile you’re saying “I want to start a bathing suit line” and “I want to move to a new house”. While she listens to Paige and Ciara who I love but are also not married and have no idea what it’s like to build a business with a husband

Let's look at what actually ended up happening from the after shows - no talk of kids, no moving to the suburbs - Amanda is still in the same situation- and Kyle went and spent thousands of dollars on dj lessons and equipment . . . A small dj setup worth anything is like 3k - they could have talked about something more feasible for Amanda like working for someone else, but she can't even talk about leaving or he flips out

Trauma Queen I agree with you 100%! Kyle is a great guy and so funny and hardworking. Kyle is the reason I started watching the show! Kyle needs to sort out the things that connect him with Amanda. Kyle needs to divorce her! I'm so tired of her. She's so selfish and doesn't appreciate Kyle. She talks to him disparagingly all the time, even in front of other people in the room. She doesn't love him!

They both should probably divorce. They spoke speak badly about each other, to each other and to the others! IMO, Amanda should seriously think about seeking professional help for her insecurities and seeming delicate mental state. Her constant crying and whining gets on my nerves.

Name ONE thing that has happened in Kyle and Amanda's entire relationship that is all about what Amanda wants. They live in the city, she halted her own career path to help Loverboy, she still works for Loverboy, she hasn't started her own project but Kyle has started his "dream" of being a DJ, they don't have kids and Kyle still parties like it's 1999 whenever he wants.

Amanda is immature and listens to her friends wayy too much. First she wants a family then she wants to start her own company? Poor Kyle.. She sounds lazy like most modern girls these days

Yes that modern girl actually kept Loverboy afloat with her investment and designed the product line - and that modern girl wanted a family and when he said no we can't even begin to discuss it - she wanted to work at something else - and then he went to be a dj and she's in the same boat - sheesh she is so selfish - stay in line Amanda and do what kyle says!
