If only this series had a 3rd season set in the 80's Imagine the things it would say about Ronnie Reagan.
It's the voice acting that does it for me lol

I think you're failing to realize what a parody is. For example, Nixon and Elvis didn't really talk like that. Their verbal quirks are simply being EXAGGERATED for comedic effect.

I love all kinds of people, because we are all one race. I hope people can see that one day. Having said that, this episode needed to be broadcasted, and it was the best episode yet! Making light of truthful events is the reason the Television was created.

truthful events? None of this is truthful. Elvis did meet Nixon but it was a short meeting, and he wasnt anywhere near this fat in 1970, he was in great shape at the time. Also, Elvis never hated black people, never was racist. He didnt "Steal" black music. The real racist people are the ones who segregate music and style. He was equally influenced by country, western, hillbilly. All types of music.

I love Elvis but the thing this got wrong lwas Elvis was actually in shape when he met Nixon, he was literally fit. He didn't gain weight for a few years
They have Elvis messed up. When he met with Nixon in 1970, he wasn't overweight.
@logan.2310
Жыл бұрын
“Fat elvis” as we know him is a bit overstated. He didn’t start gaining weight till about 1974, and even at his death wasn’t really much fatter than your average American 42 year old. Rather, what killed him was a combination of his pill popping, and the short time frame that he gained that weight. You could only imagine the amount of overeating required to go from slender to obese in the matter of only 3 years.
black dynamite knows how chuck norris got his start

Well first of all, it has a new sweet intro animation, and the first episode of the season involved black people making white people their slaves and boy was it funny.
Are there any anime influenced shows like this
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
For one was this true I mean about the government trying to destroy the black community and for two what kind of drugs was elvis taking, for his heart or something else
im am white i find this show very amusing! i also commend michael jai white for his courage( this show truly is a tribute to the blacksplatation films of the 60s and 70s!
Henry Kissinger has since died age 100
Oh, I know that. I was just wondering what real-life aspect of Elvis' life this was parodying to be exact. De he actually get fairly fat before he died? Did he gain any visible weight that was obvious to the public?
@samiamtheman7379
2 жыл бұрын
He definitely gained enough to be visibly obvious to the public, hence the jokes, but they definitely exaggerate it here. He also was on anti-drug campaigns with the White House, but was also addicted to drugs himself out of a belief that if a doctor recommended it, then it was okay to take.

I think this is funny as hell. I like how Nixon is president in this as well as Futurama, then he had a cameo in Dr. Who. Are people are starting to love Nixon? The only downside is, some people probably think this is really true.
when including celebrities, they have timeline problems like: 1. OJ simpson hating white people and using the same knife from the crime to cut a christmas turkey in anger 2.Michael jackson in his thriller outfit and moonwalking etc etc
Funniest episode ever.
Why is the bird on fire
Why is elvis chugging down pills like no tomorrow?
That intro! WTF?
Because for him there was no tomorrow because he popped pills like no tomorrow.

Black folks are one of the majority who loved elvis... there is always one or two who always bring up how much elvis did for the black community... we all know it's a joke and exaggeration lol chill and have a laugh
Kinda amusing. People always gave heat to Elvis for being racist even though he never was but never said anything about the actual racist musicians like Elvis Costello or Jerry Lee Lewis.
Who ever says the show is racist.. Is an idiot. It's actually a positive show.. Makes you laugh at the ignorance of racism..
ive barely seen footage of nixon and i knew his voice was off
Yes? What was slightly more obvious was the drug abuse.
I hope your joking dude, otherwise, it's a reference to his death, he died on the toilet because he had been taking too many pills for i believe his heart, and he died of a heart attack. On the shitter.
Weird comment section
Because Elvis did that.
the difference is hiphop samples mostly from classic BLACK artists because THEY CAN. the difference is elvis was allowed to do it because he was white
25 veiwer
The racism in the show is used as away of parodying racism .It plays on the idea or racial tensions and thoughts in the 70's by joking about thier existence.in episode 1 we have "ninjas" who represent ignorant "niggas" well known in the black community.In episode 2 we have the kkk and black panthers work together, showing that no race is above ignorant racist ideals and do have much in common. This show isn't saying one race is better than the other, it makes fun of the very idea.:)
