Baita I think all we need to do is try and have an open debate on the curriculm and then come to consensus and ensure its progressive. It's the first time a bold move is made has been made for one curriculam for the whole country. Mind you we are still not one nation yet. . As for politics in our region these youngsters need to understand it in real depth. Afghanistan and India were anti Pakistan from day one. Before Talibans Afghanistan wanted to make Pushtonistan. During the last 20 years India was allowed to freely use their soil to carry on subversive activities in Baluchistan. So why should not Pakistan celeberate Taliban victory. We don't have much choice. I was very liberal a few years back and thought India want friendly relations and its only our fauj which has created this unnatural hostile situation for their own benifits. But seeing the designs of Indians in the last 5 yeas is an eye opener. Day and night they are working on single agenda and that is to destroy Pakistan.Now about IK. Its your own assesment that If Imran is a puppet of Fauj or is it the first time that Civil and militery are on the same page. Remember Imran from day one says there will be no militery action or militancy allowed from Pakistan soil. And so far establishment has honoured that.

I have recently started listening to your podcasts. It is safe to say that listening to you guys is therapeutic for me. It helps to keep my sanity intact. I live in Texas and it frustrates that shit out me when I can’t find desi men who who are Not taliban apologists, IK supporters, misogynists, and victim blamers. I understand the masses being that way but these men and women who have had the same education and exposure as I have, share the rotten mentality of religious extremism and male patriarchy with Pakistani masses. Thank you for speaking your heart and talking sense!

I am not as optimistic as you Shezad and second Muzammil about what's gonna happen in Pakistan. I'm seeing my very educated friends and relatives and those who are the top executives at biggest organizations support Taliban, Khalil ur rehman, TLP and etc. These numbers seem to be increasing every day. Still, kudos to both of you.

Agreed. Even educated men here, despite all their exposure abroad and the education they've received, seem to regress quite a bit when it comes to the faith or when it pertains to embracing differing viewpoints or lifestyles. Plus, the consistent lack of critical thinking here (thanks to the kind efforts of the state) coupled with the need to impose a Islamic values (which sect's values woh bhee? Shias are apparently considered polytheists by some while Ahemids are deemed heretics and deserve to be killed) over the local populace just because the "West is corrupt" or that we're an Islamic country....these poisonous sentiments will take years to weed out and honestly I don't see this happening anytime soon. Frankly, it kinda sucks getting old in this country: You become cynical so much faster thanks to the weak institutions, rampant corruption and seeing most of your decent friends and family strive to move abroad (even if it places them in a worse economic situation, the long term benefits in their view are worth it) that it becomes difficult to hold on to hope that inshallah things will get better

Theres a Ghamidi in every era, but its actually logic which is pushing forth all ideas, not scholars, its only when, by logic, a concept has prevailed so much that its impossible to refute it, someone like Ghamidi sb interprets the religion again and tells people that the verses were misinterpreted, that is why i say that let us accept logic as the benchmark to progress forward, our concept of God is based on the Quran, but the Quran doesn't make wordly and scientific matters as a major topic, as said by Ghamidi sb himself, the Quran's central theme and message is that the Allah is One, beleive in the Prophets, and that people will be rewarded on Judgement day according to their deeds, apart from this all other verses are being interpreted again and again with a new meaning every century, lets accept the fact that religion is about our belief in Allah and Hashr, apart from that we should use our logic only to determine what should we do TODAY

Ghamidi and others like him have stated similar thoughts but religious clergy have been imposed on us for so long that we have forgotten to talk about religion with logic and replaced with different belief systems which are based on a different school of thoughts I'm not saying it's either good or bad I'm just saying that when you are elucidating Quranic verses and hadiths you have to understand the mythology behind it otherwise you will be justifying Taliban and mullahs and will be thinking that you are defending Islam which will lead you to take extreme measures when it comes to defending it. You will be the tool of the state they will use you however they like. So just don't listen to anyone with a beard and think that he is absolute without any proof do your own research and then come to any conclusions.

I have scoured the platform thoroughly for a better,in-depth channel than this but I have been disappointed because it is frankly the OPTIMAL BEST!!! You will never be disappointed with the output and thus the content of the videos as all topics are addressed and nobody is spared like army generals and mullahs. Chacha is very funny so your entertainment will be taken care of. Finally, spread the reach of the channel as everybody deserves this goodness just like you so promote it...

❤️ A very enriching and stimulating discussion, indeed. I loved it, and was impressed with the knowledge and deep perspective on various issues of BOTH of you. A few comments for factual corrections: 1. The wealth of the US wasn't entirely slave-created. Yes, it contributed, but it wasn't THE factor. 2. The company that Dick Cheney had earlier been a CEO of, and was later promoting as a Vice President, was Halliburton (spelled with double L). 3. The Japanese residents in the US during WWII were incarcerated in 'Internment Camps' and not 'Concentration Camps'. There was no element of torture in those camps. 4. While there is debate, evolution, and self-correcting mechanism in the US political system, it's derailing and evaporating fast, and the society polarizing as never before.
Good video.... But I will disagree with you at one point.... There is a huge difference between religion and spirituality. If you are spiritual that doesn't mean that you are religious. Religion is something totally different. Basically religion means our beliefs on books that God sent. But it is not necessary for a spiritual person to believe on God and that books. Spirituality is something about our subconsciousness. So being spiritual doesn't mean that you are religious.

Spirituality is about one's "Self" awareness and it is universal just like the light in our universe/world is the same no matter what language, alphabets or numerals we use to describe it. Spirituality is to a human being's inner world as light is to the outside world. True religiousness cannot begin or exist without spirituality. The messengers and enlightened beings reached the peak of Spirituality and tried to draw other towards it but eventually their message/work almost always becomes a business of religion organized around power and politics by people who are neither spiritual nor religious. This, unfortunately happens again and again and so each one of us must endeavor to rediscover it again and again while searching for a living spiritual flame within each of our lifetime. Not easy but is always possible. That much light is always there and is given to us as grace.

His point that hierarchies are natural was extremely careless. The same predator-versus-prey or oppressor-versus-oppressed argument is often used to legitimize patriachy and capitalism. I expected an explanation from him, or I could hear it from any of you here (and no, don't give me that lobster example you read from Jordan Peterson's book). I have scoured the platform thoroughly for a better,in-depth channel than this but I have been disappointed because it is frankly the OPTIMAL BEST!!! You will never be disappointed with the output and thus the content of the videos as all topics are addressed and nobody is spared like army generals and mullahs. Chacha is very funny so your entertainment will be taken care of. Finally, spread the reach of the channel as everybody deserves this goodness just like you so promote it...

CHACHA has a midnight live stream and daily exposing videos of corrupt mullahs, jaali pirs and stories of the day in a unique funky andaaz! Please spread to all brothers and sisters as it deserves the maximum audience to see it and enjoy! Word of mouth is important to spread the channel to unknown people who are missing out on the action...

The conversation that happened in the end only takes place when South Asians talk. Felt the same when conversing with Dr. Madhavi Menon and Manan Ahmed Asif. Maybe it's just the subcontinent thing where ideas are presented through a conversation, not through debate like the western model where both think they are correct.
Excellent conversation. Frequency of new episodes are low. On the other hand to produce quality programs, it has to be that way.

Taliban is accepting aid from China. ... now please tell me that is it in accordance to the Islamic Principles that an Islamic govt can accept aid from a non Muslim nation . And if no then how come one can term taliban as an ultimate Islamic emirate.
