Man, Shaun's organ solo here could easily go toe-to-toe w/ CH's Lingus solo. So tasty

Not to disrespect anyone, I loved Shaun's solo, but this solo was no match to the lingus solo cory henry played. Again! Not to disrespect anyone!

Have you listened to Bet lol😂
For some reason this song just brings a tear to my eyes it's so good and Shauns organ solo is one of the reasons.
That auxiliary percussion does such an incredible job of filling out the space. Amazing song!
This is one of those songs that feels like every piece is in it's exact right place. Like a constellation that we're lucky to be in the right time and place to see

Yes. It is totally unique and it will never happen again during our lifetime. If it will be regarded as a masterpiece, or just just a piece of music in the future will be more than interesting.

The song that started it all for me! Never would I have guessed, 9 years later, your catalogue is so good I tend to forget about this one now!
I can't explain how, but the whole video feels so 2010. Like the quality and the outfits and the general look of the setting just makes it so obvious that this was filmed in 2010.

Absolutely one of my favorite Snarky Puppy albums. the funk by all participants is tangible and that drummer, my man sput, is pocket af
Just love from 5.06 to 5.20 minute mark Shaun’s left hand palm disdainfully slaps the organ keys without fear of making a mistake. Awesome.

Oh man... Nice! The beginning sounds like a Steely Dan tune. 🤩👍
I still can't get over how amazing this song is. It's one of those rare songs that is so unique and sounds like nothing else. Super creative, even down to the name of the track!

I remember the day, the hour, the moment I first saw and heard Michael play a Stevie Wonder cover with Cory Henry, and then tracing YT links through to all the amazing Snarky musicians and beyond. Thank you thank you for rescuing my faith in great music ❤️
Shaun is incredible
HOW CAN YOU SIT THERE SO CALMLY
Hammond. B. Effing. 3. + Shaun Martin = 🔥🔥🔥
Love Justin's solo accompaniment; he gives the soloist plenty room and adds just right flavor underneath.
What a sound. And that organ solo was outstanding. 💪🎹
How can you possibly not like this unless you don’t understand what great music should sound like?

0:01 - Those opening keyboards. That's Steely Dan all day. That's a hat tip to the song "FM".
I am so thankful for youtube, i dont how i would of found these guys with out it, i dont get out much any more and not many hip places left in my area for music, i mean... not made like this anymore. this is stuff from 30 or 40 years ago... This musicianship at its finest...
Every time I hear this I think it is a Steely Dan instrumental track!
Can we all just take a minute to talk about that groove Michael is laying down after his solo?
Just a hecking classy tune. Whatever you do to the sound of this is engulfed in awesome.
YESSSS!!! It's back........and breath
Just saw them live opening for STEELY DAN. They were fantastic. As was STEELY DAN but these guys are my new favorite band. Nobody sounds like these guys. And they do it LIVE all the time. Such great musicians.

Man i am so glad that this is back on youtube, This was the main video i used to introduce everybody i knew to Snarky Puppy. Yea Shaun!!!
first time hearing, not surprised the trumpet player composed this lol. i love it and i wanna learn it

When Shaun gets like that, it's like he's giving a master class on how to play keys. "I got this." #respect
Good to see this video back up again. I have a large library of Snarky Puppy music but always enjoy watching this well shot video to see the sheer enjoyment and excitement of the musicians as they feel this track builds and soars. The look on Mike League's face as everything comes together towards the end is priceless. Can't wait for more fresh tunes and your return to Toronto someday. Enjoyed all your shows here so far.
This is what perfection sounds like
Thank God for streaming, this song has been in my head all day
Seriously, this song just makes me happy. 😃

That intense groove
This remix is better than the album version in my opinion. The organ solo on the album is so low in the mix that you can barely tell there's a solo happening at all. I'm sure that's one of the reasons they remixed it. Great song, and really love the guitar melodies at the beginning - so smooth and soulful!
I like the voices on the Family Dinners - but this instrumental makes nearly goosebumbs 👌 Like it!
Love this one
This is just amazing
love it ! great performance, great sound
Amazing. Simply, amazing. The song (still is) and the production.
What we've all been waiting for...
One of my favorite SP tunes! I definitely prefer this mix!

It is very cool!
Top niveau toujours ! Magnifique ! Sorry i'm Frog !
Highlights of the remix, where there is up-volume on the instruments: (1) 5:44 is the winner, really - that out chord is effing magic. (2) Shaun's high hold note at 5:55 was cool (missing in the original mix) and (3) boosting the sax at the end (starting 6:23) when the original mix favored the trumpet.
Shaun Martin mannnnnnnnnn

It was remastered for a very good reason. When they were going to put this whole album onto vinyl they realised the mixes Eric Hartman had worked on disappeared, except the raw audio files. It was necessary to remaster the whole album in order to release the vinyl.
