Snapdragon Vietnamese Pho from Costco - Food review, taste test, Instant Pho Noodles
We love pho, especially during the wintery/cold days. There's just something so satisfying after eating a great bowl of pho. We likely enjoy it so much due to the broth. Its so comforting!
We picked up this instant pack of pho bowls from Costco to try. We like that its instant, so that even our girls can make it themselves in a pinch...but we're not sure if it tastes any good. Real pho takes a long time to make. Will this instant one even compare in the slightest?

I love Snapdragon.
I glanced quickly at the ingredients and thought I saw that there’s about 1450mg of sodium. That ain’t good. But you didn’t remark on its being too salty, so that’s cool. I just wouldn’t have it every day. Or I’ll learn to make my own pho broth. Thanks for a good review. 😊

The flavor is very strong and similar (IMHO) to Pho restaurants...you should try it!
My kids Love this bought a few cases when They were on sale also😁

Yeah. Best part is that my teen can make these herself.
as a hue person who loves pho, this is like the maruchan ver of authentic pho 🤣 but i would still sit & eat 3 🥣 in 1 sittin. & like maruchan the noodles get soggy really fast

Yeah I can see that...these bowls seem a little smaller than other "bowls" of ramen. My daughter usually has at least 2 of these in a sitting. :)

How to enjoy Costco Snap Dragon Pho: Soak the dried Pho noodle with a tsp of salt into a large bowl for 15-20 mins until it becomes soft because the original paper bowl is too small when the noodle absorbs the water. Wash the noodle several times with tab water to get rid of the salt. Put it aside. In a small skillet put the ingredients found in the original bowl with some water and cook until it boils. You can add more ingredients (like meat balls) of your choice if you want. If you have tender beef slices or shredded cooked chicken put them in the bowl with the soft noodle. Pour the boiling broth directly into the bowl to cook the rare beef. Add some cut green onion, bean sprouts and serve with extra hoisin sauce and hot sauce like you see in the restaurant and enjoy.
I love the seasoning of these noodles, but I prefer the very thin vermicelli noodles, not these thick ones. Still, this is a great value for the price, and super easy to make. Can you please try the frozen dragon fruit? I am very curious about them, but I don't think I've had dragon fruit before.

Hi... Is this Pho vegan? It says Pho broth... Was wondering if it had beef in the broth...

It is too bland so I make it with chicken broth instead of water and it makes it bearable to eat.

I personally think the flavor is strong. Not saying it’s authentic pho but these definitely didn’t taste bland to me. Peppery flavors was strong.
Worst tasting pho eveR! Save the money go to real vietnamese store and eat there.
