Because the devs usually target the majority of players which have 300-400$ phones , not everyone owns the newest ultra or pro max

This is wild. It doesn't look like its running at 1080p, but this is still very impressive for a mobile device, and something that wouldn't look out of place on a current gen system. Impressive.

It was 240X320 Today we are playing Full HD games and games in Higher Resolution It was Up 900KB To 1MB In Java And It was better in Symbian maybe they had ( 480X855) But According to gamea It was All java games, My first gaming phone was Nokia Java I bought it ( 12/12/2012) I'll never forget the day.. What I could see in the video is that the ray traicing is very nice but the amount of polygons and effects are not of the same quality as a PS4/XONE. The same could be seen on Apple chip, A17 pro, in the game RE Village, where against console it loses a lot of quality. But you don't have to be silly either, it's a cell phone, it's something surprising.@@Akronn

Hope they start installing fans in phone. It will be needed. If phones can do even 1600x900 at 60 fps consistent in coming years for ps4 games that'll be good.

Price will go up and beyond 1800$ minimum if ps4 graphics are achievable for high end phones. Have played base ps4 red dead 2 ,gta v on my old crap note 10 lite 720p via remote play. Looks very acceptable at even 720p stream on such small screen.

those are pre-calculated and baked into the environment type of lighting, meaning they're using lightmaps to light up a scene. Difference with real-time ray tracing is that it changed dynamically as you are moving the camera and player

It’s interesting that in Uncharted 2 all the lighting and shadows are already done using ray tracing and transferred to the game. In terms of optimization, this is better than RTX but the downside is that when we move objects from one place to another, the lighting does not change on them, everything that was already on them remains

I can't wait to see how phones will be in 2025 when i get one, for sure I'll be choosing the newest snapdragon so i can run whatever i want whenever i want.

We really do need high demanding good games. I use all platforms but mobiles really need those great games again. A mobile phone now has more power than PS4 or the last gen Xbox. It will beat all consoles in next 4-5 years even though it can't beat pc

You cant run it. Its that simple. Snapdragon gen 3 is roughly the same as a GTX 1050, which means almost all triple A games are not playable. Only games that can be run are graphic games that came out before 2015

physical fan is not require to cool a phone. gensin impact is as demanding as gta 5 or closer system requirements. we have 1TB phone available while 256gb is based variant now. SD865 should be powerful enough to run at normal setting 30 stable fps.@@krar2004yy

are people still falling for this scam? remember the exynos 2200 with its ray-tracing features and raw power? well that was one of the worst performing chips of the last years. as long as there isn't proper cooling, mobile processors won't be able to keep up even with the switch and its lame but well cooled tegra 3.

Please run PC/Console game like Apple has done with A17 Pro. And compared to A17 Pro, 8 Gen 3's GPU is not that powerful. Because it can't run those PC games.
